Since 1999, the restaurant LA PRUNELLE is a bring your wine that imposes itself on the popular Duluth in the heart of Plateau Mont-Royal. The chef conveys her passion in each of her dishes, working with products of Quebec dotted with Mediterranean accents. Respecting both the producers of the province and seasonal changes, the menu leads us into an adventure filled with happy detours. One feels immediately at home in this lively and friendly restaurant, overseen by Annie the co-owner and her team. The place is a beautiful and charming space, with large windows that open completely in the summer. One thing is certain, LA PRUNELLE is a very good value for money and is surely one of the finest dining experiences on the Plateau Mont-Royal.

Cependant le service a été long pour attendre la carte des desserts (pas loin de 30 min, la serveuse est passée plusieurs fois devant nous sans nous accorder un regard.. !) Les plats étaient bons (végétarien, poisson & légumes) mais le magret de canard ressemblait plus à de la semelle qu'à un vrai magret juteux & tendre, la cuisson était trop forte. Dommage.View more

I really wanted to give this place 5 stars. The food overall was delicious, the let down was the steak frites, which I was really looking forward too as well! The frites were great, but the steak itself was chewy & tough, I could barely eat it. I told the server that it wasn't very good (in the hope they would replace it), but nothing was done about it. I mentioned it again when paying the bill as I think it wasn't worth the price especially when it didn't taste good, & asked whether they would usually replace it, but to my surprise I was told they precook the steak & it's vacuum sealed. Maybe that's normal practice? All the other dishes were great. As for service, great attention in the beginning when we were the only ones, as the night got busy, they became forgetful :( but were kindView more

Wow, excellente expérience!! Les plats étaient parfaits. Le meilleur pain grillé (à commander sans hésiter). Le service en cuisine a été très lent par contre. J'y suis allée tout à fait par hasard & sans grandes attentes. J'ai commandé un steak, poivre vert & c'était exquis. La mayonnaise qui venait avec pour les frites était impeccable & faite maison. J'avais oublié de préciser la cuisson pour le steak, mais heureusement ils ont refait le tout en cuisine. Les serveurs étaient courtois & patients avec mon amie anglophone qui voulait pratiquer son français. Je retournerai, c'est sûr.View more

Première expérience & sûrement pas la dernière. La cuisine a été remarquable & Monsieur Jeremy est tout bonnement formidable. Nous reviendrons assurément.
