Since 1999, the restaurant LA PRUNELLE is a bring your wine that imposes itself on the popular Duluth in the heart of Plateau Mont-Royal. The chef conveys her passion in each of her dishes, working with products of Quebec dotted with Mediterranean accents. Respecting both the producers of the province and seasonal changes, the menu leads us into an adventure filled with happy detours. One feels immediately at home in this lively and friendly restaurant, overseen by Annie the co-owner and her team. The place is a beautiful and charming space, with large windows that open completely in the summer. One thing is certain, LA PRUNELLE is a very good value for money and is surely one of the finest dining experiences on the Plateau Mont-Royal.

I have been going to this restaurant for YEARS. The ambiance in the place is lovely. When you walk in, immediately you know you'll ve back. The food is on another level on it's own. Each & every time you go you're pleasantly surprised at the arrangement of your dish, the quality of the ingredients & the attention to detail. I HIGHLY recommend making this your new date night spot, or bringing guests from out of town to eat great food. & don't ever skip on the creme brulee.View more

Small restaurant on a quiet side Street. Excellent service excellent food ambience was very nice for a meeting of friends. It's a bring your own wine place so that's an advantage for many people & there's an SAQ around the corner.View more

La nourriture était débilement savoureuse! Des combinaisons de saveurs , & de textures originales & bien maîtrisées. Bravo! Le service un peu lent, mais il n'y avait que 2 serveurs. Ils semblaient faire de leur mieux.
Enfin, le restaurant était excessivement bruyant, beaucoup trop pour nous. Nous ne reviendrons pas pour cette raison malheureusement. Nous avions de la difficulté à s'entendre parler.View more

2nd time to restaurant, as good as the first time.
Fancy yet relax & cozy atmosphere.
Food was excellent. Sautéed mushroom for appetizer is a must. Magret de canard fantastic with the paired sauce.
Definitely will return to try the rest of the menu.

This little french restaurent is on our regular rotation.
It's popular enough but I've never struggle to get a last minute reservation. It will work for date night or a small group.
The vibe is cozy in the winter with all the lights & in the summer it fully open up you can really take in the vibe of Duluth.
It's a bring your own wine & reasonably priced. The food is superb but the menu doesn't change a ton over time.View more

Dans l'ensemble, c'est un bon restaurant mais un peu cher à mon avis.
Le service était parfait, notre serveuse était très professionnelle. L'ambiance est agréable, même si je ne suis pas fan des éclairages tamisées.
Pour les plats, mon conjoint a pris la pieuvre, composée de 2 morceaux. L'un était caoutchouteux & l'autre délicieux. J'ai pris le tartare, qui n'avait pas d'assaisonnement particulier. Je m'attendais à plus de goût.
Mon plat principal était le faux filet avec frites & sauce au poivre. J'avais que j'en avais mangé de meilleurs. Mon conjoint a pris le canard, j'y ai goûté & il était délicieux.
Au final, tout est une question de goût, mais somme toute, c'était quand même bon.View more
