I don't usually eat at Kosher Restos, but I will keep La Notte as a favorite for delicious & affordable Italian Gourmet level cuisine. I needed to find a local resto for visiting kosher relatives. Unfortunately 2 servers did not show up for a very busy Sunday Labor-day weekend & a harried young man was dealing with a still half-full dining & terrace full of families & couples at 8pm, which would have needed 3 servers to carry off. Yet, he never showed anger nor frustration. For that & the excellence of the food, I give this establishment 5 stars. I would have loved to start with a salad, but they are large enough for a family of 6! Indeed there were many large families with well-behaved children in attendance. I had the most sublime fettucine with cream, truffle oil & flambeyed mushrooms. The pasta was al dente & the portion was generous. My cousin had a very appealing onion soup & mac'n'cheese, while his wife was raving over the excellent Primavera. We finished off by sharing the Chocolate Lava Cake which was presented as several small cakes with ice-cream & plenty for 3 to share. The atmosphere is friendly & comfortable. I was in Little Italy last summer, & everything was pizza. All the old landmarks disappeared post Covid. Well, no need to go far anymore with La Notte around the corner. Their menu has everything from pasta, pizza, fish, salads & a wide choice of appetizers. & even brunch!

I ordered the fettuccini al funghi pasta, it has an Alfredo sauce & tons of mushrooms & truffle oil. It was truly one of the best pastas I've ever had in my life. I was with a large group & everyone has pasta or pizza & loved their food.
