Our host/manager was welcoming & in control. Our server Dave took good care of us at the bar & the food was really good-- from the traditional Calamari, to the mixed green salads & the String Ray special with side veggies & Veal with Mushroom Sauce with the side pasta-- all very good. Restaurant has "a soul", nice vibe with it's nice contemporary design but still with an old world Italian feel . . definitely coming from the staff.

The food was excellent. We ordered pasta carbonara & anchovy pizza. The pasta was perfect & pancetta nice & tender. The pizza crust was paper thin & crispy on the edges. I asked for extra topping of arugula & that was great. Will return!
If you want an authentic Italian experience I highly recommend going to La Medusa. The food, the staff, the service, & the atmosphere make it one of the best restaurants in Montreal if not Eastern Canada. I am from Vancouver & make sure I reserve a night here for dinner with clients when I come to town. They carry an excellent wine list at all price levels. Homemade pastas are old family recipes. The homemade desserts - cannolis & tiramisu - are worth saving some room for. The veal & steak dishes melt in your mouth. My biggest challenge is trying to decide what to eat - it is all so so good!!!
La nourriture était excellente. Par contre, nous avions mal été servi tout le long de la soirée. C'était vraiment dommage, car ça ne donne pas envie d'y retourner.
Pour ma part, c'était ma première visite à votre restaurant. Service, nourriture, personnel tout était parfait! C'est certain que nous y retournerons. Gardez votre formule, elle est parfaite!
