The food was ok, not very rich in flavors, the size of the pizza was good, but I think it was a bit overpriced for what they offered.
The service was awful, the guy who served us was fine, but when we asked some questions about the bill, another guy (apparently manager or owner) was extremely rude, he was clearly mad about us questioning what they charged, he finally fixed the bill without saying a word, which made the moment very uncomfortable. Definitely not coming to this place again

Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to our expectations. We ordered the carbonara & the Bari pizza. The pasta was slightly undercooked, & the'sauce' felt more like plain egg yolks than a proper creamy carbonara; it lacked flavor & cohesion. The Bari pizza was topped with vegetables that were extremely bitter & overly salty, which made it hard to enjoy. Even the Greek salad was far too salty. Overall, the food quality was underwhelming, & we left disappointed.
The food was just as great as the service ! The food came in super fast despite being on a Friday night during Formula 1 weekend. Definitely worth a try if you love pizza. A lot of places have a well cooked dough but that doesn't stand under its own weight. That pizza dough was crunchy & tasty. I was really happy with it. The only'downside' I suppose, are the prices for drinks, 20$ for a Martini but it's getting hard to find reasonably priced drinks anywhere these days.
Overall would definitely recommend for sure. I didn't catch our server's name, but a super nice guy from Naples, his smile & jokes made the experience even better !
Restaurant hyper sympa. Concept super intéressant. Bon resto classique italien. Le service était vraiment impeccable. L'ambiance très festive avec le match des canadien qui allait se jouer plus tard. Pour se qui es de la cuisine... La pizza au champignon était innncroyable & la pizza en entré aussi. Pizza overall 5/5 Les frittes super bonne Croustillante. 5/5 Les pâtes... helala cetais vraiment pas leur fort cette soirée là. Les pâtes était 0/5. Aucun goût. Hyper liquide. Cetais vraiment pas bon. C'est bizzard être dans un resto italien & les pâtes son vraiment médiocre. Enfin... overall de 3/5 pour se resto italien. La pizza WOW. Merci pour l'expérience !!!
Authentic Italian cuisine! Food & service excellent! Had muscles & calamari as entree, delicious, pizza was amazing, fish of the day was even more delicious! Highly recommended! Parking in back, but more public parking on stanley.

Une expérience gastronomique exceptionnelle! Le service était irréprochable, l'équipe attentionnée & professionnelle. L'ambiance chaleureuse & conviviale m'a immédiatement charmé. & que dire de la pizza... un véritable délice! Les saveurs étaient parfaitement équilibrées, avec une pâte croustillante & des ingrédients frais. Un lieu incontournable pour les amateurs de bonne cuisine!
This elegant Italian restaurant located in the heart of downtown on rue Drummond is truly a gem of Montreal. The pizzas & pastas are to die for especially the pizza inspired by the Montreal Canadians which has maple sirop! A must try is the traditional tiramisu as well! Super comfortable & elegant chairs & table set up & the servers including Pablo & the rest of the staff go above & beyond in order to deliver service & friendliness beyond what I have ever experienced' if you want true Italy in Montreal, go here! You will be blown away. The pizzas are made in a stone oven, just like in Italy & the pasta is succulent, fresh & extraordinary! grazie mille al team di signori che si sono presi cura di noi come se fossimo delle celebrità I will return again & tell everyone I. Know about this gem & fully recommend it as one of my favorite if not my preferred Italian restaurant in Montreal !!!!
Nice place. If you get fried calamari, ask for spicy mayo or marinara otherwise they give you cocktail sauce. Stick with the pizza. The waitress told me it was thin, but it was neapolitan style (which is good). Don't get the broccoli Rabe one. The broccoli rabe was too whole, too raw, & too bitter for the pizza. either margarita or spicy prosciutto. Spagetti Carbonara was soupy. Too much pasta water.. other than the carbonara the food was ok just maybe not my preference. Again, stick with the pizza, it was tasty neapolitan style.

Je suis allé pour une petite promenade, & du coup, je me suis trouvé devant les portes de La Medusa; l'ambiance m'a contraint d'entrer & c'était une des meilleures décisions de la soirée... This cozy two floor hallway of a restaurant gave you the feeling like you were at a distant relative's fancy cocktail dinner & it was invite only - listen, I can't say if I liked the soup or the pizza more, but I will say that I think it was the best pizza experience. I don't know how they managed to have a sweet, savoury, salty, umami, & spicy flavour (in that order) in one pizza, but they made it work. The chef even came out to ask me how it was tasting (going the extra mile)! I'm all about repping local eats that deserve a little more love for what they do, & La Medusa is a Montreal GEM! Comme première visite & expérience chez La Médusa, j'ai apprécié l'endroit, la propreté des lieux incluant salle de toilette ! Eh oui! car je me suis toujours dit que l'entretien des salles de toilette est le reflet de la qualité de la cuisine & des lieux.
J'ai aimé mon choix de vin 🍷 ainsi que la pizza 🍕& salade....
Ordered the calamari, it was crisp & delicious. The pizza & pastas were also delicious. The service was amazing, our server took great care of us. Would definitely recommend.
