Our new favorite place in Montreal! Been searching for a great Italian restaurant & found it. Food was great. Service was friendly & the interior was nice. Wanted to come back the next day but closed on Sunday. Our loss!
We visited this restaurant with our 4 year old daughter after being turned away at another restaurant. The staff were sincerely kind & friendly. They welcomed us with open arms & gave my daughter treats. The food was great, I had the salmon with vegetables & my spouse has the lamb chop & shrimp with vegetables. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Would recommend for anyone into Italian to stop by.
Authentic Italian cuisine! Food & service excellent! Had muscles & calamari as entree, delicious, pizza was amazing, fish of the day was even more delicious! Highly recommended! Parking in back, but more public parking on stanley.
Very friendly & attentive staff. Extensive wine list. We had the escargot in white wine sauce. Beautiful flavours & extremely tender & tasty escargot. I had the cannelloni, beautiful tomato sauce, the pasta was cooked to perfection & generously stuffed with a tender flavourful filling topped with melted cheese & herbs. My wife had the spaghetti & meatballs. 2 large tender meatballs full of delicate seasoning, the pasta was perfect with a light yet very satisfying tomato herb sauce. The decor is very classic high end Italian, beautifully decorated, the plates are generous without being too much, & the prices very reasonable.

This elegant Italian restaurant located in the heart of downtown on rue Drummond is truly a gem of Montreal. The pizzas & pastas are to die for especially the pizza inspired by the Montreal Canadians which has maple sirop! A must try is the traditional tiramisu as well! Super comfortable & elegant chairs & table set up & the servers including Pablo & the rest of the staff go above & beyond in order to deliver service & friendliness beyond what I have ever experienced' if you want true Italy in Montreal, go here! You will be blown away. The pizzas are made in a stone oven, just like in Italy & the pasta is succulent, fresh & extraordinary! grazie mille al team di signori che si sono presi cura di noi come se fossimo delle celebrità I will return again & tell everyone I. Know about this gem & fully recommend it as one of my favorite if not my preferred Italian restaurant in Montreal !!!!
On of my favorite Italian spots in the city. Simple & delicious. Attentive service from old crotchety men that know their stuff. It also has an extensive wine list. Not cheap, but nothing is anymore. I go regularly, & I'm never disappointed.
Stayed at the hotel next door for a few days. Saw this classy looking Italian Restaurant next to it as I arrived. I got ready went for dinner, walked in & instantly got treated like a King by the owners & staff. The food was authentic & delicious!

While in town for the Campus Stores Canada Conference, my company sponsored a reception at La Medusa in downtown Montreal, & the impeccable customer service left a lasting impression, with a staff that was attentive, friendly & went above & beyond. The ambiance was delightful, complemented by a tasteful decor that added to the overall experience. As for the food, every dish was a culinary masterpiece, showcasing the authentic flavors of Italian cuisine. From appetizers to desserts, La Medusa demonstrated culinary excellence. Our event was elevated by this extraordinary dining experience, making it a memorable occasion & highly recommended for those seeking a perfect blend of exceptional service & delectable Italian cuisine in the heart of Montreal.
Unforgettable cuisine & outstanding, attentive service. The menu is enormous which is often a red flag but you really can't go wrong here. The filet mignon risotto is to die for as is the lobster tagliatelle. I always recommend this place whenever someone is looking for Italian downtown.
This was an incredible experience. I was referred to La Medusa from a friend while on a visit to Montreal. We turned up (a little late - sorry) but were graciously welcomed by Joe. Seated in soft plush orange chairs & served by Pino. Pino was so good. Made our time fun & some great suggestions. Started with the meatball & rappini. the meatball was amazing only better I had was from my mom. The rappini was better than my moms. The white lasagna was the best ever. I will crave this all the time. Do no hesitate, order the white lasagna. All in all an outstanding dinner & experience. Thanks so much to everyone for taking such great care of us. I will definitely go back my next time in Montreal. Best Italian I have had in North America.
