I've tried alot of indian restaurants around my area, & Le Mantra comes out on top on every single dish I've tried. I usually go with the same options, but every time I've tried another dish from them, the spices are masterfully mixed & balanced ( at least it feels like for me) & everything is packed with tastes & textures that I enjoy alot. The in restaurant ambiance is great, roomy & relaxing. Absolutely top of the line for the area.View more

The food is delicious. The naans & the curries are fresh! The combos are a very good deal & a great way to try many of the menu items. We order at least 2-3 times a month & so far it has been great. Their service is quick & they serve authentic Indian food. One of the best indian restaurant. A must try!View more

Food was okay but the service was pathetic. The lady who gave us table , later served food at 9:30 & came at 9:45 to ask if we can finish the food & leave.. she refused to serve us after 9:30 but they served two new tables at 9:45. When we told her this is rude then she said she doesn't want people to dine in after 9. I told her i had guests from Toronto & this is insulting as the other tables are still eating. Then She said yaa but we close at 10 & its already 9:45. If you guys dont want to work then dont join restaurants. Being Indians, you were insulting Indians but respectfully serving non Indian community. Disgusting service & poor behaviour .View more

The indian food was some of the worst we've ever had, my kids who love butter chicken refused to eat it after tasting it. So many better Indian restaurants. Worst night! Service was a bit slow but not nearly as bad as the food.

Disappointment is least to say, my friend & I were looking for good Indian food. We come across this restaurant, the menu looked enticing & the restaurant looked clean & beautiful. However, when we got there, it was anything but what we saw in the internet pictures. This was huge disappointment for both of us.

Ce restaurent est bon uniquement pour les québécois qui n'ont jamais goûté a la vraie nourriture indienne! La nourriture est fade & n'a aucun gout .
Le point positif est que le poulet était bon .
La nourriture n'est pas épicée & n'importe qu'elle vrai indiens diraient que cette nourriture n'est pas la meilleur.
Pour de bon resto je vous suggère Indian curry house a Jean talon , Bombay Mahal , le Taj , Indian beau village.. etc.

Bref si vous etes québécois & vous n'aimez pas trop épicé & vous ne connaissez pas la véritable nourriture indienne opté pour ce restaurent

My wife & I have been to many Indian restaurants - including several in Montreal - & Mantra was by far the best that we have tried. We had the channa samosa & pakora as appetizers. Pretty standard dishes, but they were exceptionally flavorful, fresh, & not particularly greasy. As vegetarians, we had the shahi paneer, aloo gobi, tarka dhal, & vegetable biriyani as our main dishes. All were fantastic, nicely spiced, & very reasonably priced. Moreover, the staff & owner are very friendly & helpful, & the ambience was excellent.
Would wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone!
