Nous étions une trentaine de personnes & tous ont quitté très enchantés de notre cocktail dînatoire. La nourriture & les vins étaient de toute première qualité. & le personnel très attentif. C'est une expérience que tous devraient vivre au moins une fois dans la vie.

This is one of the top restaurants in the West Island. Excellent French cuisine in a heritage house, with outstanding service to match. If you're looking for a great meal where you can hear the people you're dining with, this is it.
Pour dire simplement, nous avons très bien mangé. Les plats sont raffinés, ayant de bonnes portions. On ne coupe pas les coins. Pain, beurre, etc. Les pétoncles fumés m'ont totalement surpris. La bavette de boeuf de ma conjointe était d'une portion généreuse & exquise. Nous étions trois à avoir le fish & chips & c'était parfait. Mon copain avait le canard & le foie gras en entrée, même chose, parfait. Le dessert maintenant. Il faut savoir qu'ils ont un pâtissier sur place. On nous recommande le Paris-Brest. Il est énorme & sublime. Ma belle maman a pris les profitéroles & c'était parfait aussi. Service sympathique & à la hauteur de l'ambiance chaleureuse. Stationnement facile à l'arrière. Les prix sont plus que compétitifs.
Le repas était délicieux & la truite & les frites divines. Un détail: le dessert était trop froid & trop dense à mon goût mais la sauce au caramel était délicieuse! Merci de votre belle proposition avant les concerts à la salle Pauline Julien; c'est vraiment agréable.
Tout était parfait! La présentation des plats est spectaculaire, on sent toute l'attention qu'ils portent à chaque détail & les mets sont vraiment savoureux. Le service est attentionné & on nous a bien guidé pour le choix du vin pour accompagner nos plats.
J'ai mangé le mahi-mahi & mon mari le ris de veau avec comme entrée le fondant de poireaux. Pour dessert, la tarte au pomme était succulente & une véritable oeuvre d'art! C'était un souper d'anniversaire & l'endroit était idéal!
There are many different aspects of this restaurant to review; here is my breakdown 1. Service The service from the team is truly remarkable. They are all friendly, hard working & very accommodating. They are very attentive & always serving their guests with a smile. The entire team is happy to be there as they work together efficiently. 2. Cleanliness The entire restaurant is clean. From the bathrooms, to the floors, the tables & the silverware. They pay a special attention to all aspects of the restaurant. 3. Food All the dishes that I had were excellent. Everything is prepared perfectly, well cooked, well seasoned & presented in a very appetizing way. In conclusion, I would definitely recommend this restaurant for an event or a nice night out. The team takes care of you & is simply excellent. The service is the best that I have experienced at a restaurant. Looking forward to coming back!
We realized why this gem is such an institution in the West Island. Great French food perfect for a family dinner or a special date night (like in our case). My hubby did the gastronomic menu with wine pairing & every dish served to him was well thought out. It's a good choice for first timers. I went with ala carte & had their beet salad, foie gras terrine, magret du canard & their gluten free chocolate cake. Our server Charlie did very well timing our courses together despite having different choices. Overall very good experience!
Non seulement la bouffe est toujours aussi bonne dans une ambiance chaleureuse & réconfortante, mais que dire du proprio Éric! Il y a neuf ans, lors du décès de mon fils, ce dernier s'est démené pour nous faire un buffet in extrémiste malgré cette période de l'année si occupée. Encore aujourd'hui, il nous reçoit à coeur ouvert en nous dégottant une place dans son resto bondé. Merci à cet homme plein d'humanité & de coeur!!
