La Maison Verte was established in a 150 year old ancestral house. It's vocation is noted for it's fine gastronomical French cuisine, and fresh seasonal products such as wild game. Through the years, this family business has developed a unique ambiance and exceptional service. These are the makings of a tailored reputation that has earned La Maison Verte a standing of it's own in the West Island. Romanticism and our decor go hand in hand with our private rooms and covered terrace, which provides a warm welcome and instills a lasting memory enticing our cherished customers to return.
La Maison Verte stands out as a warm and versatile spot where the food consistently delights with classic French cuisine, thoughtful presentation, and attentive service described as impeccable by many guests. The ambiance blends cozy intimacy with occasions and celebrations, offering beautiful spaces and a wine program that is often praised. While a few reviews mention noise, variable room temperatures, or occasional menu misfires, the overall experience is characterized by high quality, generous portions, good value, and a welcoming atmosphere that invites return visits.
We had a nice meal, however, service was slow. Also slow to clear the table. My creme brûlée was not the best I have had. It was lacking the silkiness & creaminess it should have.
The wait staff were friendly & polite.
excellent service
excellent repas
excellent accueil
mais dommage, pas assez de lumière, le plaisir d'un repas, ce n'est pas seulement avec les papilles, mais aussi avec les yeux.
A very fine kitchen in the West-Island of Montreal. A warm, wood-ladden decor & professional waiting service with safe environment during COVID. I will come back!
We had a friend & family get together for 11 people in the downstairs private room.
Fantastic food & a great ambiance. It was a very special & memorable evening. The fish & chips was popular. I found the duck with wild mushrooms outstanding. There were several older people in our group whose hearing isn't very good. In retrospect I should have asked to turn the music off.
