Very nice time at La Maison Verte. The food was very good & the ambiance on the terrace was very pleasant. We were a group of 6 for a birthday celebration & I was able to order a cake from the restaurant for 6 with b-day wishes written on it, a nice personal touch. All said they would go back!
We have visited this restaurant previously on three different occassions & have been very pleased with the staff, service & food, but unfortunately this time the waiter we first had was lacking in socialization skills. Also we all had the beef bavette & we were all disappointed to find it not as tender as we had been told by people who have had beef bavette elsewhere. Plus one members was cold. We will think secondly about returning to this restaurant.
We had our wedding at La Maison Verte last Saturday. We contacted the owner Eric in early 2020 with the hope of holding our event in 2021 but then covid hit. Throughout the pandemic Eric held our place & was in constant contact. Once we got the green light we were able to choose a custom menu, were given excellent wine suggestions, decorated the terrace for the ceremony & had the cozy room upstairs to ourselves. The food was fresh & delicious, the staff friendly & efficient & they all clearly have a passion for what they do. Our wedding here was PERFECT & we would highly recommend La Maison Verte for anyone looking to hold a special event big or small.
Très bonne nourriture. Portions généreuses. Les six personnes présentes ont bien aimé leur repas. Très bon rapport qualité-prix. Nous étions au rez-de-chaussée. Très beau décor style Nouvelle Angleterre. Certains ont évoqué la ressemblance avec les restos d'Ogunquit, Maine, dont les murs lambrissés, l'auvent de l'entrée principale & la galerie entourant la devanture. Je recommande de l'essayer!
