Welcoming entrance upon arrival. Nice table presentation. Several different waitresses (all pleasant). Not overly noisy environment. Food was good & nicely presented. Ambience was busy with gaudy flower framed pictures. Would recommend to others & & would return.
Le resto par excellence pour les amoureux des crevettes comme moi. À chaque visite, elle sont excellentes, cuisson parfaite & le goût rehaussé sans être masqué par trop d'épices. Qualité & portions parfaites. Hier j'ai trouvé le service un petit peu trop rapide mais sinon, toujours une agréable expérience.

Nourriture toujours impeccable. Cette fois, le filet de veau en cuisson lente était particulièrement succulent. Il a même fait ombrage au râble de lapin qui n'avait pas autant de saveur. En entrée, la soupe à l'oignon était également délicieuse. L'ambiance feutrée de cette maison ancestrale est particulièrement agréable pour un souper en tête à tête.
Toujours excellent à tout point de vue! Accueil, ambiance, service, repas, choix des vins & en plus, excellent rapport qualité-prix!

Personnel courtois, ambiance agréable pour la St-Valentin. Par contre en se qui a trait au repas principal,
« le Carré d'agneau » était froid & la « Trilogie de la mer » était tres salée, spécialement la queue d'homard. Dommage, car c'est un de nos restaurants favoris!
Plats merveilleux & excellent service. Ambiance décontractée comme je l'aime. Cependant lumière trop tamisée. Plusieurs clients ont dû utiliser la lampe de poche de leur téléphone cellulaire afin de lire la carte.

That was our first & probably last time at this restaurent. Overall very disappointed.
Two of us ordered the gastronomic menu ($80). The first dish, pan seared fois gras, was excellent. Unfortunately it was all downhill from there. Second dish, smoked halibut was OK. Third dish comprise 3 tiny scampi overly salted. After this, we waited 45 min. until the main dish came. (Meanwhile, a couple who sat down way after us had their main dish served already.) The wild boar dish was an utter disappointment, over cooked & tough to chew. We commented on this to our waitress. While the place was nice, service was OK, though they were trying to serve some other tables who were going to the show afterwards, so the atmosphere was a hurried, not relaxed one. For the same price range, you'd get better service & definitely better food at Restaurent 40 west.
