About us
La Maison Verte was established in a 150 year old ancestral house. It's vocation is noted for it's fine gastronomical French cuisine, and fresh seasonal products such as wild game. Through the years, this family business has developed a unique ambiance and exceptional service. These are the makings of a tailored reputation that has earned La Maison Verte a standing of it's own in the West Island. Romanticism and our decor go hand in hand with our private rooms and covered terrace, which provides a warm welcome and instills a lasting memory enticing our cherished customers to return.

Thank you, Eric, & team for a wonderful afternoon reception at your restaurant. Our waiter Louis & staff were accommodating & attentive. Guests enjoyed the great selection of appetizers & main dishes you offer. The food was fabulous & there was plenty of chatter & laughter around the table. Lemon & sea buckthorn cake was a hit - we would like the recipe!

A cozy & romantic restaurant housed in a charming 19th-century building. The décor & ambiance are warm & intimate, perfect for couples or small groups. Service was friendly, welcoming, & hospitable.
We tried the gastronomie tasting menu with wine pairing - the wines were excellent & complemented the dishes beautifully. The food, however, was a mix of hits & misses. It started strong with the appetizers (the foie gras was a highlight), but one of the main courses had flavours that competed rather than complemented each other, with the sauces overpowering the meat. While we appreciate creative & deconstructed presentations, the elements should ideally come together to create a cohesive flavour profile.
Overall, we enjoyed the experience & would return to try the à la carte menu next time.

we were 7, very attentive service, nice, bright room, great meal options. I had Babette poutine, very good, should have been hotter!

We've going there since their opening almost 30 years ago. Last night's meal was extraordinary: great presentation, no rush, quiet, very intimate, our tastebuds were spoiled with incredible flavors. Our main server , Eve, was attentive to detail & made our culinary experience memorable.

We waited at least 40 min for the appetizers to arrive they were fresh but not seasoned well & lacked flavor
Even the bread took time to arrive & we had to ask for it 3 times
The fish was dry & lacked flavor
The smash potato tasted like it came out of a box . The roasted eggplant was hard & the cracked pepper was getting stuck in the mouth
The dessert were ok
But did not put enough chocolate sauce on the profiteroles even when we asked them to
The male waiter had alot of attitude & made us feel like he was doing us a favor to serve us
This was not a cheap meal & merited more attention to detail
Unfortunately we will not be returning to this establishment

L'accueil est hors pair, nous sommes reçus par le propriétaire qui nous enlève nos manteaux, par la suite durant tout le service nous nous sentons comme des personnes très importantes. La nourriture est excellente. La qualité est du début jusqu'à la fin

La nourriture était assez bonne & le service courtois. En revanche, l'ambiance peut être très bruyante - sans doute parce que le restaurant accueille régulièrement de grands groupes. Ce n'est peut-être pas l'endroit idéal pour un souper tranquille en tête-à-tête ou entre amis.

We had an amazing meal served by a very professional & friendly waiter (Louis-Philippe). From the reception at the front desk & the warmest of the staff to the excellent food, wine; it will be a memorable evening we will not forget soon. Highly recommend this restaurant. The portions were quite substantial too which I was not expecting from a gourmet restaurant. & to top it off, we had a cake on the house to celebrate our special day. Thank You all at La Maison Verte.
