Toujours heureuse d'aller à La Maison Verte. Quand ma soeur vient me visiter de Québec, c'est la première chose qu'elle me demande: faire une réservation.
I don't like submitting a bad review however I feel I must.
This is one of our favourite restaurants however our last two visits were not very good.
On the positive side the setting, the ambiance & the service is excellent. But when you have two bad meals in a row it must be mentioned. Last night I ordered the guinea fowl ( pintade) & it was so over cooked it was difficult to cut & even chew it was so dry. Needless to say I had a few bites & left the rest. Kudos to our waitress who when she brought me the bill, she did not charge for my plate. That was the right thing to do. On another note, the menu needs a refresh, has been the same for quite some time- just my opinion.
We were a big group for my father's birthday. We were in a private area, very cozy upstairs. The price is reasonable for the quality of the food & service. It's a great place for an intimate dinner or a family gathering
