About us
La Maison Verte was established in a 150 year old ancestral house. It's vocation is noted for it's fine gastronomical French cuisine, and fresh seasonal products such as wild game. Through the years, this family business has developed a unique ambiance and exceptional service. These are the makings of a tailored reputation that has earned La Maison Verte a standing of it's own in the West Island. Romanticism and our decor go hand in hand with our private rooms and covered terrace, which provides a warm welcome and instills a lasting memory enticing our cherished customers to return.

Atmosphere: Cosy cabin like atmosphere. We got seated upstairs which is a high ceiling room (attic). Downstairs main room is a natural wood space.
Service: Service is fine. Email or Reservations taken care of very quickly.
Food: I always go for the tasting menu which is about 4-5 courses priced reasonably. This is one of the few spots that does a nice fois gras in it's true form & one reason I would choose this place. Appetizers are always interesting & this time was a leek dish which was mind blowing. Main is always something different than you would find at restaurants & I'm open to new game (meats). Dessert they have a lot of stuff that I want to try outside of what is included in the menu but its not just a slice of cake, very well presented.
Being in the West Island, it's a hidden gem.
Rating 5/5 for value & taste & service.
Note: Downtown has a lot of restaurants that would be 5/5 but prices are a good 50%+ more. Keep that in mind.View more

Pour dire simplement, nous avons très bien mangé. Les plats sont raffinés, ayant de bonnes portions. On ne coupe pas les coins. Pain, beurre, etc. Les pétoncles fumés m'ont totalement surpris. La bavette de boeuf de ma conjointe était d'une portion généreuse & exquise. Nous étions trois à avoir le fish & chips & c'était parfait. Mon copain avait le canard & le foie gras en entrée, même chose, parfait. Le dessert maintenant. Il faut savoir qu'ils ont un pâtissier sur place. On nous recommande le Paris-Brest. Il est énorme & sublime. Ma belle maman a pris les profitéroles & c'était parfait aussi. Service sympathique & à la hauteur de l'ambiance chaleureuse. Stationnement facile à l'arrière.
