Globalement, La Ligne Rouge est présentée comme un spot de doner et de gyro très prisé, avec des portions généreuses, des saveurs intenses et des prix très compétitifs, certains la décrivant comme le meilleur doner ou le meilleur gyro de Montréal et rappelant des souvenirs d'enfance; les frites et le tzatziki sont souvent salués et plusieurs commentaires évoquent une expérience rapide et satisfaisante, parfois quasi divine, avec une cuisine propre; cependant des bémols reviennent: le paiement en espèces uniquement peut compliquer les visites, l'absence d'options de livraison et des heures d'ouverture parfois erronées ou à mettre à jour, et le service peut sembler brusque ou peu chaleureux selon les passages; malgré ces points, l'endroit demeure une halte rapide et savoureuse pour les amateurs de doner et de pita, avec un consensus sur le goût et le bon rapport qualité prix.
Nothing fancy & embelishment here; just straight up good, comfort food from friendly people. It's my go-to place for anything doner. It's also right next to the metro station, making it a great stop for great food.
Classic doner spot, visiting from out of town & friend of mine said it was a must stop. Did not disappoint. Done was delicious & super cheap. Thanks!!!

Terrific service. Friendly, attentive, ready to serve. The donor sandwich is incomparable. The tzatziki sauce is to die for. Best sandwich in Montreal, maybe all of North America. & the price can't be beat.

Popped into this place tonight for the first time after craving a poutine & it was INCREDIBLE. The fries were crispy, layered with thick cheese curds, & delicious gravy. The portion size was huge & the prices are good. The grill & prep area were very clean. It's cash only & the two gentleman working are focused on making the tasty food, not to chat. All good, will be back.
this restaurant is located at a very convenient location, just across the jean coutu that is close to the jean talon metro station. it was very clean on the inside, & the atmosphere during the day is amazing. i would recommend sitting closer to the window. the food we ordered was amazing. the shawarma meat wasn't dry like many other places i've been to. the fries had quite a sweet, but not too distinct taste to them. the restaurant owners were very friendly. will be coming again!

I give this a 2.5 I grew up eating in this place, went away when COVID hit . Came back & the gyros are smaller, dry meat. Soggy fries NOT at all what it used to be. This place used to be FIRE GOOD juicy. Best gyro in the city for sure. Cash only & all I used to didn't care for that. Hopefully they come back as they used to. Many new places open up & are very good. (Reply) No sir it was quite open, sad instead of inviting again you come with a joke. Your gyro is DRy & small at 2pm during the day
Amazing gyro, shawarma, etc. & the fries are truly great. & for the people whining about the cook in the reviews... I honestly think it's part of the charm 😂
Absolutely delicious kebabs! The chickenwas tender, the veggies were fresh, & the sauce was just perfect. Quick service & friendly staff too. Will definitely be coming back for more! Make sure you bring cash tho! (CASH ONLY)

J'ai été pour la première fois à la ligne rouge suite à la recommandation d'un ami & après la réouverture du restaurant. Le menu est diversifié pour un fast food de ce type pour tous les budgets. J'ai opté pour une Poutine à la viande. La Poutine était vraiment bonne. Je recommande ce restaurant proche par le métro Jean-Talon. PS Ils prennent seulement de l'argent comptant. 5* for the food, 3* for the service & ambience. There's this one guy... rude for no reason & has that "I'm always mad" resting face. The others are very friendly & welcoming.
My family has Been going there for 30yrs !!!cheers to my brother who loves to eat poutine . I ordered the trio chicken doner with cayenne pepper lol & I replace my fries 🍟 for a poutine . I couldn't finished half of it.... I was full. These men has working hard . Congrats
Amazing delicious gyro, the best in the city.The fries are excellent! So dam good I've been twice in a week!! On top of that served by two great guys who are always super nice.

Honestly, it has always been delicious & still is. Their Greek-style spit roasted pork sandwiches (gyro) are super flavorful & generous. Tzatziki is great (homemade?). Bread is a nice chewy flatbread. That red sauce (what is that?) makes a perfect sandwich.
Fries are fresh, not frozen. Onion rigs are seriously legit. They also do burgers, hotdogs, poutine, chicken.
Say what you want about the guys that work there, I love them. They're really busy at times, it's not easy work. Just be patient, be nice.
I heard many good reviews at La ligne Rouge. I went there around 9h30 p.m. I got the poutine, a pita, & the burger. The staff seemed in a rush even tho there weren't many people. It was my first time, & I felt unwelcome due to the fact that I was taking my time to choose. The price is average & so is the cleaness of the store. Food is ok. There were too many Tzatziki sauces in the burger & the pita. The fries were soggy, & the sauce was too salty. The portion is big. They only accept cash. If not, there is an ATM in person.
