La Diperie in Pointe-Claire is the favourite ice cream spot for my wife & I. We love the choices of dips & coatings & the ice cream is of an excellent quality. BUT I did not give full stars for service because for some reason the opening hours are often not respected. On multiple occasions when the shop is posted as being open we are majorly disappointed when we arrive & the doors are locked. The latest time was this past Saturday in mid afternoon, probably the last beautiful summery weather day on a weekend for 2024...& it was closed up tight! So we went down the street & made do with another ice cream shop. The word of advice if you don't want to be disappointed is to call ahead, don't believe what you see posted on Google for the'open' status, it's often not correct. UPDATE: The response from the La Diperie Team was also disappointing, they completely ignored the complaint about not respecting their opening hours. Am I to presume no effort will be made to correct this pattern?

With 70% black chocolate crisp cover, I love this one. Not so sweet but very delicious. Public parking lot is behind the shop.
