La Croissanterie Figaro offre une ambiance parisienne charmante avec une décoration au style Art Nouveau et une atmosphère chaleureuse et intime où croissants beurrés et chocolats chauds font partie des favoris. Les avis soulignent un personnel accueillant, un service sympathique et un cadre agréable qui convient pour une pause café, un repas informel ou un moment posé sur une terrasse accueillante. Le décor et l'ambiance nostalgique sont souvent cités comme des points forts, transportant les visiteurs dans une ambiance typiquement française même loin de Paris. On note toutefois que les prix peuvent être quelque peu élevés et que certaines améliorations au niveau de l'entretien ou du rythme du service seraient appréciées, mais l'expérience globale est décrite comme charmante et digne d'un retour.
Let's do the good stuff first. It's got great atmosphere. Like really great. Like being transported to a Parisian arrondissement great. The viennoiserie looks really pretty. The pastries are reheated. That's a trick to make them better. I ordered a croissant with jam. The jam that arrived was Smuckers. A little peel the top off plastic container that you get at diners. The cutlery was dirty. Like disgusting dirty that it reminded me of when my Chinese grandmother used to wash the chopsticks at restaurants in hot tea. The good news is that the pain au chocolate my wife had was « buttery » which is what happens when you put it in the oven. Nothing wrong with warming up French pastries. It's a great way to make mediocre pastries pretty good. My croissant was mediocre but heated to make it pretty okay. But it was small. I like small buttery croissants. But mostly ones that are well done by talented & determined bakers. Who would kill or die at the sight of their creations being served with Smuckers. I ordered a café au lait. Which is usually a delicious coffee drink with texture & the sweetness of a good milk. Not here. This was more akin to a double double from Timmy's but not as sweet. I didn't drink much of it. I mentioned it to the waitress who asked about the food - after we ate it. She looked at my barely touched café au lait & I told her in no uncertain terms it was the worst I've had in my life. To be clear I've had worse coffee beverages but this was the worst café au lait. She said she would mention it. Waited forever for the bill. The café au lait was still on the bill. She presented me with the machine to pay & the lowest tip option was a whopping 18% which is the norm but was about $4.00. I stared at the machine & felt bad as I pressed no tip. I felt bad because the server probably needs the money in the typical cheque is small. But the tip is a way to make things right if the product isn't commensurate with the price. Save your money. Cross the street to Rumi where I had an amazing delicious brunch.

Charmant & staff are wonderful. We enjoy coming here on a regular basis. The terrace is great in the summer . Try the cheesecake, all the patisseries are made in house!! Delicious. Merci Charmant- Blaze & famille
Service un peu long pour revevoir les assiettes, mais sinon très bel endroit authentique & vintage! J'ai adoré l'ambiance de l'endroit. Belle terrasse aussi! Serveuse super gentille! J'y retournerai certainement!
Beautiful terrace. I love the greenery & the shaded seating. The coffee / tea is quite good as well, as is the desserts / pastries. One of the best cafe's in the city.
Our expectations were higher than the food we got. Pretty average in terms of portion size. Hot chocolate, flatbread, pierogies was okay. The puff pastry was great. People are great, service is slow though.
Loved this beautiful place, unique decor, great terrace 😲 ordered grilled baguette with butter & strawberry jam, a cappuccino. Great service 🤠😁 have to go back😍
We had breakfast & everything was delicious. We tried the original croissant 🥐 & was simple but delicious. The service was great. There is a lot of parking around on the street & also spots to sitting outside.

First time there just loved it staff was friendly food was delicious really a beautiful little quaint bistro bakery they have a great patio I will definitely be going back
I had a coffee & tarte aux pommes at this gorgeous café on a lovely, quiet street & felt transported to Paris. The service was so friendly too. I highly recommend this destination if you visit Mile End.
Je suis complètement tombée sous le charme de ce restaurant. Dès notre entrée l'endroit nous enveloppe par sa douce musique & ce décor chaleureux. Le service fut hors pair en toute délicatesse & douceur. Mon repas... un délice. J'ai opté pour un feuilleté aux champignons, j'en fut comblé. C'est un must dans ce quartier. Je ferais même un détour pour y retourner.
Vraiment mon coin préféré 🤗 endroit chaleureux, cuisine, café..service imbattable ^^ je me sens chez moi toujours 🤗🥰🌷 merci charmant vous été génial ^^
