Checked out this place for lunch & it was great! Ordered the beef fillet taco lunch special, which comes with a soup & churros. Good portions, tacos are flavourful & churros were great! If you're in the area, definitely check them out!
Super nice/quick staff. Solid atmosphere. Thumbs down on the food. Had the fried brisket burrito & it was over fried, flavours did not come together with ingredients like feta. Bean dip tasted like canned Tex mex style beans & again did not come together with the full slices of bacon on the top. Would not be in a rush to return.
We visited this restaurant on May 2nd.The restaurant was nicely decorated & we enjoyed the cocktails. When it came time to order, we decided on a cheese quesadilla & a chicken one. When the server came to our table with our order, she gave me the wrong dish & my son. I thought I had the correct plate, so I took at bite & realized I was eating my sons meal instead of mine. She mixed up the orders. I had to order a second meal again for my son. Not to mentioned we initially got 2 pieces of the cheese quesadilla, along with a small tiny piece with the order. The server was not attentive at all. Poor customer service. When we received our check. I was reviewing our order. I believed I saw a tip added to the total bill. but she corrected me & said it was taxes. I proceeded to finalize my bill & gave her a 18% tip. When our server walked away, she slammed the portable charger that I used to process the credit card against the register & walked away frustrated. I will not be visiting this place again. She needs to learn better customer service & listen carefully when a guest is placing an order. We didn't have such a great experience. Not to mentioned I had to buy a second meal due to her mixed up & was charged for it also.
I have celiac disease & can't normally eat out at restaurants because of gluten & cross contamination. The waiters were kind & attentive to my condition. Service was great, portions a bit small for the price but the food was great also.

I would say they need to focus on their recipe more. I was with a Latin American chef yesterday & we are disappointed with the food taste. The guacamole first of all needs to tone down with the onions. It is better to serve a smaller portion with proper ratio of the ingredients, rather than serving it with more onions. The avocado should be the main palette & the tomatoes, onions, lime, salt, pepper, etc are the enhancers. Second of all, the shrimp ceviche, it was not fresh at all. The'chicharron' looks like it came from the premade from supermarkets. The price point should have added more quality to the food they are serving. The server & busser are quite pleasant but the food definitely needs to upgrade. They are serving easy to make Mexican food, it should have more effort.
Atmosphere & food was good really pretty inside the restaurant BUT we had a really rude server when we asked for a simple favour to fix a mistake on our bills this waitress (Katia) was mad for no reason & made sure we all gave undeserved extra tips. I had American friends with me who didn't know the exact tipping culture in Canada & she took advantage of that. Not happy with this waitress however food was great & I was happy with choosing the restaurant. I would return if this waitress wasn't working there.

Cilantro haters rejoice! I asked for no cilantro & was delighted to receive tacos with no cilantro, no questions asked. Any cilantro-hating food lover knows that sadly such excellence can't be achieved everywhere. Service was fast, food was amazing, & the prices are reasonable. It's worth your time.
