Excellent tea service & even better, friendly & helpful staff. Had a birthday celebration here & enjoyed delightfully fresh & delicious scones, & a platter of sweet treats & savoury bites. Tea was good, but the coffee was excellent. Will be back again!

Prendre le'High Tea' chez Brume est une belle sortie. Le choix de thés est fabuleux. Les plateaux de bouchées sont diversifiés & délicieux. L'ensemble est très copieux & les scones valent le détour.

Seul bémol, & c'était le cas lors de notre dernière visite, le niveau sonore peut être très élevé. Cette fois, une table de clients très bruyants qui n'étaient pas là pour l'expérience du'High Tea', gâchaient l'ambiance au point où on entendait à peine le'God Save the King' qui annonce l'arrivée des plateaux de bouchées. Bien sûr, ce n'est pas la faute du resto mais il faut être conscient que l'expérience peut être troublée selon la clientèle du moment. C'était la première fois que ça se produisait pour nous.

Enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea with my family. This café easily accomodated our large party, but reservations are essential to secure a spot for afternoon tea as a group. Every element of the tea experience was perfect: scrumptious snack bites served on unique china pieces in a cozy & casual setting + very reasonable prices. The afternoon tea experience also includes a whole teapot (per person) full of your choice of tea (including Fortnum & Mason options!!)

I was here for a late brunch with a friend, it was out first experience with high tea & we really loved it. We ordered the King & the Queen brunch plates from the high tea menu. The bites we're all delicious, there was variety, & portions were surprisingly filling. The porcelaine was on point but not pretentious. They play a little tune when they served, it was cute. The scones were well sized & flavourful.

I went there for high tea & overall I enjoyed my experience. However, I wish the place was more vegetarian friendly. There is no vegetarian option on the menu but I asked for a vegetarian version of King in advance & they said it was no problem. Then they brought me a platter which they called vegetarian & they left without explaining in detail what it contained. I took a closer look & realized that they brought me salmon. I called the waitress & asked her if I was right thinking that this was real (non plant based) salmon. She confirmed & said that in their cafe vegetarian means'with fish' & if I don't eat fish it means I should order vegan. Eventually she brought me an egg sandwich as a replacement for the salmon, but I found it weird that vegetarianism was so misunderstood there & that the waitress framed the whole situation as me not making my dietary limitations clear. I am not planning to return because there are plenty of high tea places in Montreal that have good & truly vegetarian menus.

It's always a good time for high tea! I went with three friends for lunch last weekend & had a wonderful experience. The three-tiered tray was generous-perfect for two to share-with a nice selection of both sweet & savory treats. I paired the experience with a Jasmine tea, which was a lovely choice.
The place itself is cozy & has a warm, inviting vibe. Each time someone orders high tea, they play a charming English soundbite throughout the restaurant. The scones are a real standout-especially the feta & spinach, which were my personal favorite. The staff were friendly & attentive. Overall, it's a great option for anyone looking for a unique & delightful culinary outing!

i love this place for a cheeky tea time & their scones!! some of the best in the city 🌟i recently tried their grilled cheese + soup du jour (butternut & sundried tomato)….it made going out in the freezing wind so worth it

Although the food was tasty, the service ruined my experience. We were five people & were only suggested to take 2x the high tea towers & there was clearly not enough for the amount of people we were so we ended up placing 4 orders. With tower comes tea & scones, & when ordering the second set of towers our tea was not refilled & we had to ask for our scones, as the waiter forgot.
