La Belle Tonki is easily one of my favorite spots in Montreal! Every dish is packed with flavor, creative, & beautifully presented.
A must-order is the Papaya À La Playa-it's incredibly fresh, crunchy, & perfectly balanced with sweet, savory, & spicy flavors. The Drip Tonki Roch Burger is another standout. The crispy chicken, saté drip sauce, pineapple chutney, & soft brioche bun come together perfectly, making every bite unforgettable.
Don't skip dessert! The Pandan Crème Brûlée is silky smooth with a subtle pandan aroma that makes it unique & delicious. & the Bueno Bueno Roti is pure comfort food-crispy roti loaded with hazelnut spread, creamy filling, vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, & crunchy hazelnuts. It's the perfect way to end the meal.
This Vietnamese-inspired Asian fusion cuisine atmosphere is fun & welcoming, the staff are friendly & attentive, & you can tell a lot of care goes into every dish. I'll definitely be coming back!
La Belle Tonki is an absolute gem. From start to finish, the entire experience was fantastic. The service was excellent, & despite them not taking reservations, the wait was only about 15 minutes, which was very manageable. The atmosphere is top-notch, as the decor is super nice & sets a great mood.
We started with their home beers, specifically the Cinq Dix & La Juicy Tonki, both of which were delicious. The Papaya à la playa was a true standout; it tasted incredibly close to what my Cambodian grandmother used to make when I was young. It was super flavorful, fresh, & is definitely a must-order. We also really loved the Carpaccio.
For our mains, we had the Burger Drip Tonki Roch & the Morue Amok. Both were awesome, fresh, & packed with flavor, & I highly recommend ordering either of these. We finished the night with the crème brulée au pandan, which was the perfect way to end the meal.
Everything we had was wonderful & I will definitely be coming back. I also love that they participate in the Défi Zéro Déchet; it is great to see a restaurant so committed to sustainability. Highly recommended!
First of all I love the theme of the place because i love anime, the staff is nice & theme food is incredible, i had the burger & my couple had the poutine & everything was good, Prices are not expensive too. I love this place

La place parlait d'elle même en arrivant! C'était plein & l'ambiance était bonne. Nous sommes arrivés 45 minutes avant la fermeture de la cuisine & il a été facile d'avoir une table. Beaucoup célébraient un anniversaire avec plats à partager. Nous étions 2 & avons prit 2 petits plats & 2 gros plats au total & c'était parfait! Le burger & le carpacio étaient vraiment délicieux, le plat de ramen très bon, quoi qu'un peu épicé, tel que mentionné. Le plat de boeuf ne m'attirait pas dutout au départ, mais suite à la recommandation du serveur, nous avons pas mal aimé ce plat également. Nous n'avons pas prit de dessert, mais en les voyant passer, ils avaient l'air délicieux. Le poulet croustillant est vraiment bon, je recommande!!! Je reviendrai certainement pour essayer la poutine au poulet. Le mocktail à la mangue était lui aussi très gouteux & goûtait vraiment bien la complexité d'un cocktail normal, même sans l'alcool! Nous reviendrons bientôt :)
I visited Montreal from Toronto, & a friend recommended this place. Honestly, if it's not the best, it's definitely one of the best spots I've tried in Montreal. My boyfriend & I ordered family-style, which allowed us to try a great variety of dishes-I highly recommend doing the same. Everything was delicious, especially the pork dumplings, carpaccio, & bánh mì burger. I loved the décor as well. I would definitely come back on my next visit to Montreal.
