Without a doubt the worst doughnuts we've ever had. These are not worth the 5$ each we paid for. The dough was awful & gummy, more like a stale industrial bread. The fillings were just as bad. We got the creme brulee (which tasted like mold) & the rose pistachio (good icing but very artificial tasting filling). After looking up reviews we found out they were vegan, which explains the texture & taste a lot. If you're used to non-vegan traditional doughnuts, skip this place & go to literally any other doughnut spot instead.
A lovely little vegan donut place. The original donut was so good that I wish I would've gotten a six-pack of that for the weekend. They have something that resembles an apple fritter (?) that was also remarkable (it came recommended by our server, who told us that it was her favorite-great taste).
All vegan donut shop. Delicious dough, creamy fillings, lots of choices including monthly specials, & they donate some proceeds to charity. Need I say more!? Run to get the Dubai chocolate donut before it disappears off the menu!
AMAZING Vegan donuts, I can't believe they are vegan & they have some great variety! I came back twice on my trip to Montreal for these!
Incredible vegan donuts, some of the best in the city. A must try (for vegans & non-vegans alike)! They also have a cute patio space outside if you choose to enjoy your donuts'sur place'.
Best donuts ever!
Les meilleurs beignes!
All vegan/tout végétaliens 🥰
An adorable place, with really good vegan donuts! I had the powdered sugar jam one & it was just oozing with goodness. We also got a creamsicle milkshake which was fabulous! Ended up bringing home 6 donuts & they were really enjoyed by all! Service was very polite & efficient. Will be returning!
They have all vegan donuts & these are the best donuts I ever had. I would definitely suggest their chocolate & biscoff flavour. If you want to try something new, you can definitely have their earl grey donut which is surprisingly tasty. Maple & walnut donut is a must try if you like the maple flavour. Also, Rhubarb with strawberry donut is something new & good.
Super bons beignes veganes.
La Beignerie is an all vegan donut shop we wanted to try in Montreal. It has a cute big sign in the front so it wads easy to spot.
Accessibility - My husband is the one that went inside, & I stayed outside with my niece. I was in my wheelchair & there were either 1 step from the street or a few steps leading to the shop. They had no ramp so I decided to stay outside. It was a nice day & there are benches right outside their shop on the pedestrian walk. They also have their own private space right outside their shop for their customers. That was also a step up from pedestrian walk leading to the shop.
Donuts - we loved them, we loved how they had different flavors to try like creme brulee, a few I dont remember the names but tasted so good. One was passion fruit, other one was keylime, lastly we got boston creme. All donuts we got tasted very rich. You really tasted the actual flavors of the fruits & didn't taste from concentrate.
Payment - my husband said they had a sign that they opnly take cards for electronic payment, no cash. He forgot to take a pic of the reason for no cash, but I think it;s safer if they dont have cash at hand. Unfortunately for older people like my Dad who prefers cash, maybe just ask their kids or grand kids to get them this treat.
