La Beignerie offers all vegan donuts with a wide, creative range of flavors that are often fresh and not overly sweet, including creme brulee, pistachio ice cream, and apple fritter with seasonal twists that rotate regularly. Customers praise fluffy dough, generous fillings, and vibrant glazes, and describe the shop as cute, welcoming, and a must visit for vegans and non vegans alike. Some reviewers note higher prices and limited seating or takeout only, while others report quick, friendly service and a standout, cozy atmosphere; a few also mention environmental concerns and ideas for reducing waste. Overall, it comes across as a standout Montreal donut spot with frequent new flavors and a strong track record of flavorful, innovative vegan options.
This place was the ideal place to fill that hole I had for a gourmet donut! The service was amazing! The young lady, Mel, served us with a genuine big smile! She was part of the reason the experience was so wonderful! Keep up the great work & I can't wait to indulge in another gourmet donut! Oh & the prices are what you'd expect to pay for a good quality pastry. Treat yourself! I wish I took pictures, but once you see & then taste the donuts... Time stands still & there's no time for pictures!
So fresh & tasty! Lots of unique flavours! Tried the Phileas Fog (earl grey icing was delicious but could have done without the extra white icing on top), cookies & cream, & a classic glazed! So yummy.

Donuts are just okay & did not taste freshly made. Interesting choices, but doesn't hold a candle to Bernie Beigne. We came on a rainy day. Only customers in the store. & ordered the crème brûlée & they gave us a hideous burnt donut, all the others looked so beautiful & they gave us, their only customers a half burnt donut. The donuts do not taste fresh. Also we asked for a bag because it was raining super hard outside, they obliged but asked for 0.75$ for a plastic bag! 10-15 cents sure, but nearly a dollar? Criminal.
Every time I head to Montreal I have to pass by here. The donuts are so so good, you can't really go wrong with any choice but the London Fog is my top favorite donut of all time!
Il faut absolument l'essayer ! Très bon service, très bons desserts & petfriendly si jamais vous voulez venir manger de la crème glacée ou des beignets sur la terrasse en bonne compagnie à quatre pattes ;)
I ordered the Oreo & Banana split. They both tasted fresh & delicious. I'm in love! The shop is so cute 🥰 there's so many to choose from. Donut is on the pricier side but worth it! They are vegan & every month they donate to a local animal charity. I'm not sure if they still do though since their website shows last June 2024 Gerdy's Rescues & Adoptions.

Oh. My. God. I ate my chocolate-frosted doughnut & my strawberry-frosted doughnut, back to back. I don't think I've ever eaten two donuts in one day, much less than in one sitting! I actually saved the Boston cream style, which has a different name, & the Earl Grey one for later.they were day old by the time I ate them & still in good shape! For some reason, I didn't like them as much as I liked the less fancy ones. Can't wait to go back, repeat, the chocolate, the strawberry, & try the Matcha... Cuz, why not?
