On a passé un super moment, les poutines étaient excellentes, le service nickel bref rien n'a dire.

This place is the best for poutine!! Always busy & unfortunately they don't take reservations. If you decide to wait, there is no room to stand...most times you are outside. But make sure to check in every so often.Voir plus

Delicious Poutine, the best in the Town of Montréal. But felt that one of the girl staff was racist & arrogant. I felt like shit for the rest of the night.
Crew is overly not client oriented.
They have too much business.
That's the problem.
If you want to have service & feel welcome. Well this isn't the place you should go. Treated like you're shit just for asking more water while waiting almost an hour for a poutine that's so bland you can barely say it's from Québec & just a ripoff... welp won't see me again nor my friends.
good food but takes way tooo long to get it
The service doesn't even take proper care of you....it took more than 1 hour to get the food that wasn't even good.
"Montreal was very quiet at midnight on Monday & La Banquise was the centre of attention for the whole block, it filled the neighbourhood with life, became a gathering place. We enjoyed our experience more for the vibe & general atmosphere than for the actual food."

on m'en a beaucoup parlé de ce resto mais en sommes j'ai été plutôt déçu de la poutine la folie la sauce n'était pas très bonne des immenses grains de poivre c'est pas super en bouche à revoir certainement..
At first I thought the portion looked really small. Not at all. I wasn't even able to finish the small plate. Actually it made me sick. I could not eat anything the day after I just felt like throwing up. The poutine was really good though but it didn't sit right in my stomach. I got the matti which has mushrooms, onion, bacon & peppers. I find it pretty expensive for the portion size. I think it's more one of those famous places you just have to go to once in your life.
J'apprécie de retourner occasionnellement à la Banquise où les frites sont supers bonnes ! L'ambiance y est aussi vraiment cool
