The BEST & most AUTHENTIC Ethiopian food on the entire island of Montreal!View more
We went knowing that we would have to wait . we were prepared for it & brought cards & conversation. It was really nice to spend time in the space & with my family & I like that it's run by a family. The injera was very good! The best I have ever had by far! everything is made on the spot. Again the injera soaked up the food so good! I'm vegetarian, but my daughters are not I tried some of their bread that had soaked up the meat dishes & it was super delicious. Just good straight up vibes & quality food.View more
A little pricey, but the food was quite delicious & the cooks were quite friendly!View more
View more
Unassuming spot that is one of the best in the neighbourhood, serving flavourful, authentic, fresh food that's made with love & worth the wait. Lamb, ground beef, whitefish & lentil dishes were all highlights, served on a large platter with plenty of warm injera. The owners are so kind. & it's BYOBView more
Incredible food from the nicest hosts. An amazing meal - highly recommend!View more
Excellente qualité de cuisine, vraiment pas prétentieux. L'élément apportez-votre-vin est très apprécié.View more
This Restaurant is wonderful & the owners are very kind. I give them 5 stars because the food is simply delicious & I have no issue with the service system. For Caucasians expecting chain restaurant service, this place isn't for you. The service is kind & functions at its own pace: its all worth it, trust me. If you get'hangry' like me, take a quick snack before getting to the place. Sometimes they run out of a kind of meat, especially late at night: Michelin star restaurants do the same. I recommend getting one more dish than the party size, for example: If you're 4 people sharing a platter, get 5 dishes & share them. All the options are delicious, have fun exploring. I've been here with groups of 4 & even 11 (Drop by early & let them know you'd like to host a group, they'll let you know if they can do it & when in the evening).View more
Great & absolutely amazing food. The owners need to work on their customer service thoView more
Succulents. View more
View more
Decided to try this out since it's in the neighborhood, & I like supporting local businesses. Also because the last Ethiopian restaurant I tried was a bit disappointing to say the least. In short, the food here was the BOMB dot com!! Bursting with flavors, & just the right portions, laid out on freshly-made injera. Sure: the place is not the fanciest, & the service is a bit slow (expect at least a 30-minute wait for your food). It's a mom & pop shop in its truest form; Mom & Pop (owners) are the only 2 employees I saw. But once you take your first bite, everything is forgiven. Definitely going back. Soon. & again. & again...View more
OMG!!! What a delicious discovery! The injara was heavenly light & fluffy & the dish (mix of tender meat stew, yellow peas, lentis (red were a little spicy & yellow were mild) cooked potatoes & carrots) was out of this world! The depth of flavours was indescribable! Everything was homemade, very reasonably priced, & served by the sweetest owners! I can't wait to go back!View more
