L'Académie Restaurants has established a unique reputation for value, service and ambiance since the opening of our first location in 1984. Our "raison d'être" has always been to offer fine cuisine in an elegant ambiance at reasonable prices. Cutlery dirty. Food caked on my plate was not a good start. Waiter was only waiter working. Nice guy but he was hard to track down when needed because he was too busy. Not coming back ever again. Food was ok but very expensive. Did I say I'm never coming back again ? $60 a person , no alcohol is way too much for some pasta.View more

Good food, not great in today's standards. Grand decor but aging. This may have been the place in the 90s but you can see the wear.
We got there at about 5:30, seated & then ignored for 10 minutes. No menu, no water. Over half the restaurant was empty so no excuses.
Food is decent, but I get the overwhelming feeling that no body cares anymore. You can smell the age of the restaurant.
Would have been nice to have visited in the 1990s.View more

Understaffed on a Saturday night with multiple parties… the waitress did great & was lovely but maybe the owner should hire more staff..
The food was okay, nothing special for a hefty price tag. The key lime pie was probably the worst I've ever had. I did enjoy the bruschetta but it could have used more feta. The calamari was also delicious.
They're offering far too many choices on the menu & should limit it to only dishes they've perfected. I will not be returning.View more

I came on Wednesday evening at 8.20 pm & they said that they had to close because it was not very busy. although there were 2 large tables (approx. 20 people), I don't think it's very professional to do this when it says on google that you close at 10 p.m.View more

We went here as a big group & had a set menu to choose from (soup + main dish). The onion soup was good however tasted a little too salty. I order the Chicken Campagnola & the chicken was well cooked & was well seasoned. I did find the portion a little too small. The service was good, our waiter was very enthusiastic & would check up on us. We did have to wait some time before getting water & bread starter. Lors du paiement, malheureusement, le gérant a décidé d'allouer arbitrairement une valeur de 20 $ à la carte en justifiant que celle-ci n'avait pas de code-barres! Je me demande combien de clients se font arnaquer de cette façon? Aussi qui garde le 30$, le gérant &/ou l'académie?View more

Juste pour rappeler à la clientèle que si vous avez des cartes cadeaux de 50$ acheté chez Costco, le gérant semble s'amuser à argumenter le montant pour allouer que 20$ à la valeur réelle de la carte en prétextant qu'il ne sont pas en mesure de lire le code barre. C'est carrément du vol & c'est franchement insultant.View more
