Let me start by saying I know a good griot! I grew up eating griot at pikliz. So anytime I'm in a city with a good Haitian community I try to get my hands on some griot.

Well I was not too impressed with what I got. There was not a lot of meat for the price paid. Most of the meat that I got were skin & fat. For the little meat I got it was dry & overcooked.

The plantains were dry as well & tasted like old plantains. Couldn't even tell if they were fried. It wasn't good.

The only decent part of the meal was the rice. It was okay. The macaroni salad on the side was blend.

For a 1st time ordering there I was very disappointed. Will I order again probably not.

Très bon! Enfin une place qui met une bonne quantité de pikliz. Le griot est un peu sec, certe, mais tout est très bon

Enfin un restaurant creole qui donne une vrai portion de pikliz ! & enfin un pikliz piquant. Leur sauce est excellente aussi. J'ai pris le poulet & il etait sec a l'exterieur mais juteau a l'interieur comme je l'aime :)
