& of course, the freshly baked delicious cakes that make every visit feel special. But even more than that, the listening ear of the owner , something rare these days especial In Canada…sometimes a simple conversation & being truly heard means more than anything.If someone feels the need to imitate or compete so closely, there must be a reason. But the truth is: no one can be you. The spirit of this place comes from the people, the culture, the music, & the heart behind it.
Thank you for introducing me to Tunisian culture, the music, & of course the koujina. Koujina feels like a community, not just a café.
I live far away, yet I can't imagine going a week or two without stopping by , otherwise the owner will be mad, haha. & honestly, being welcomed like that makes you feel like you exist & that you matter.
So please keep being exactly who you are. What you've built means more to people than you probably realize.💙
Ce café est vivant, unique & très fidèle à son thème. L'ambiance est immersive, & le thé à la menthe ainsi que les desserts sont excellents. Le personnel montre un vrai souci du détail. La pâtissière m'a même demandé mon avis sur un nouveau gâteau, ce qui prouve leur passion. Le lieu met aussi la culture en avant & crée facilement la conversation, même lors d'un premier rendez-vous. Je recommande vraiment cet endroit charmant.

This café is lively, unique, & really committed to its theme. The atmosphere feels immersive, & the mint tea & desserts are great. The staff clearly care about their craft. The baker even asked me what I thought of a new cake they're testing, which shows real attention to detail & passion. The place also celebrates culture in a way that sparks conversation, even on a first date. I definitely recommend this fun little spot.
This is one of the best cafes I've ever visited in Montreal. The owner & staff are so kind & really creative an amazing atmosphere for connection. The coffee & treats are some of the best I've ever had.
My friends & I last minute decided to go to this cafe after the brunch spot we booked fell through for our birthday celebration. We showed up to this cafe 14 girls with a cake & they worked to accommodate us. It was the one of my best celebrations.
The food, coffee & team are the best in the city. This is a must try & must return.

Medium sized cafe with mostly vegetarian friendly options (apart from sandwiches). They have an almond pistachio cake that is dairy free & good (not too sweet) but other than that they offer warm & cold drinks that are plant based Friendly.
In my review I gave a 3 for service because they don't serve you at your table (despite being tipped), you're expected to take your food from the counter to your table. I also found the music was slightly loud. Another thing is , make sure you tell them if you want sugar or not in your drinks because they will automatically use sugar. Other than that, my experience was alright.

Un vrai coup de coeur 💛 : Koujina Café est un espace exclusif & paisible, parfait pour s'évader un instant du quotidien.
L'ambiance est douce, portée par une magnifique musique arabe engagée qui me transporte à chaque visite 🎶.
Le cadre est tout simplement magique : une décoration méditerranéenne qui te fait voyager entre Sidi Bou Saïd, Djerba, un dar typique tunisien & même une touche grecque 🏝?. Chaque détail est pensé avec goût.
L'équipe est chaleureuse & accueillante 🤍.
Côté menu, un bel équilibre entre la tradition tunisienne & une touche moderne revisitée - de quoi faire voyager les papilles.
& je dois le dire : leur Pistache Cheesecake & le Orange Cake sont juste à tomber 😍. Croyez-moi, à tester absolument !
This place is truly lovely & makes you feel like you're on vacation! I tried the mlawi sandwich & it was so unique & delicious, enjoyed every bite! & the lattes are amazingly unique as well. & the orange cake... everything 10/10

One of the best cafés in Montréal! The coffee & atmosphere are great, & the staff are always kind & welcoming. I especially love seeing Aziz on the weekends ⭐️ For me, the stand out menu items are the mlawi wrap & the pistachio cheesecake. The mlawi is extremely fairly priced for the amount of eggs, tuna & olives you get. & the wrap itself is perfectly doughy. The pistachio cheesecake is the best cheesecake I've ever had, if not the best CAKE I've ever had.
