Such an amazing place! We came here on a friend's recommendation, & it turned out to be the best meal we've had so far in Montreal. The food was simply delicious - fresh ingredients, perfect flavors, & beautifully plated. The service was outstanding as well; Laura made us feel so welcome & added a really personal touch to the experience. Would give more than five stars if we could! :)

Food at Knuckles was Ok, but not exciting.
The tartare was good, but a bit sinewy. The pleurotes mushrooms were tasty, but felt a bit oily. I was expecting a lot from the mushroom pasta, but i felt they could have developed a lot more flavors with those beautiful mushrooms.
The shortcake was forgettable. Bits of dry cakes in a somewhat grainy chantilly. The fruit compote was good thought.
Restaurant is a bit crowded, loud & hot (it was 32C outside). But the food & service were excellent. Had the Pintade with truffle & spinach gnocchi. Both top notch & sauces were excellent.
If you want to go to 2nd service, make a reservation.
This place was recommended by many Montrealers, however I think it was over hyped. The food was decent but not enough to recommend it to others as top places in Montreal. The service was very good, no complaints here. Did the unlimited cacio e pepe, it was ok. Did not really enjoy the gravlax or the poireaux cesar. Maybe the place is just not for me. It was expensive for two people who did not enjoy(175$+)

Nous sommes passées rapidement à Knuckles pour un petit apéro & nous avons été agréablement surprises. Le service est top notch, il se démarque de la grande majorité des buvettes. Mémorable ! Les vins étaient très agréables tout autant que leur terasse. Le plat de pleurotes est décadent. Bien hâte d'y retourner !
We had the knuckles (a family recipe of the owner), the steak tartare burger-style & the goat cheese tarte as entrées. We loved everything, but we would particularly recommend the goat cheese dish, it was beyond delicious!
For our mains, we had the gnocchi, which were unreal & the pintade. We shared everything & were too full for dessert, although we really wanted to try the mousse au chocolat.
The portions are on the smaller side, so I would recommend ordering multiple dishes, just as the server suggested. The service was lovely & the atmosphere felt so cozy. Seriously, a 10/10 experience!
Quelle soirée mémorable!! Je donnerais plus que 5 étoiles si c'était possible!! Le mélange des goûts, des couleurs & des textures est impeccable. De plus, notre serveur a remarqué que c'était l'anniversaire de mon amie & est venu nous apportez un dessert, compliment de la maison!! Quelle belle attention!! Déjà hâte d'y retourner!!
Couldn't love this place more - what a gem. The food is outstanding - you can tell the team really loves what they do. Drinks & wines also fantastic. Can't wait to go back!

Matthew est un serveur/proprio fort sympathique, toujours aussi délicieux avec de belles innovations à découvrir à chaque visite. Le granité au negroni était sublime!
Quaint restaurant. It is small but cute. The food was delicious. Service was excellent. Their cocktails are very interesting. I particularly enjoyed the tamarind & kimchi one.
I tried the set menu & honestly it was delicious. I really like the mushrooms with the bleu d'Élizabeth sauce.
The Wednesday price of 45$ for the tasting menu is very fair. We also got cocktails at 2 for 1, so that was also very nice.
Cuisine excellente & innovatrice. Super vins natures. Service parfait & sympathique ( mention spéciale pour les bolos des serveurs) Chouette déco. Nous avons adoré notre expérience! Merci 🤩

2nd time here, this round involved getting the Shared Tasting Menu. The food was nice but contrary to our first visit back in 2023, we found most dishes to contain a little too much sauce or creams. The ingredients served are so fresh/local & lovely on their own that I feel their natural flavors would be best elevated with more subtle seasonings/herbs/fruit/etc that could better balance the experience of each dish
We had a gorgeous meal here. Sat at the bar & had a culinary experience to remember, top of the line service all in a lovely atmosphere. It's a must to go here when in Montreal, a place to keep your eye on! We also met the owner, very personable & you can tell puts heart & soul into the place. A true gem. Thank you for an amazing evening!
