Overall, Knuckles Cantine & Vins earns praise for a creative, well balanced menu, solid service and a lively, welcoming atmosphere, with standout dishes like panzerotti, tartare, gnocchi and desserts, as well as a strong wine and cocktail program; most reviews say the experience is worth the visit and would return, though occasional complaints mention the room can be loud and, on some visits, portions feeling small for the price or the menu seeming uneven.
Came here a few days ago with my girlfriend, & we ordered the Hawaiian knuckle that was essentially a panzerotti. It was really good & we were able to split it between the two of us.
We also got a nice selection of bottled wine, which was really nice, it was the first time I've ever got an entire bottle of wine at a restaurant before so it was a treat.
We ended up getting the salad that had everything bagel seeds on top with some awesome mixture salad dressing that was just a complete home run
We also got the steak fries with a side of french fries that tasted amazing
The atmosphere was really cool. The staff was extremely friendly & absolutely helpful when we had questions.
The restaurant was clean & with the winter snowy night it just made everything even better. It was like the scene out of a movie, I really enjoyed myself here & will definitely come back again. Definitely recommended that you bring your friends & family out.
Also, the prices are very formidable no complaints & they are good portions for the price you pay.

This place is beautiful, the staff is fine, & the cocktails are nice. Although the cocktail I had filled only half the glass, meanwhile the ice was a mountain & kept hitting me in the nose every time I took a sip. The food is an absolute joke. I cannot for the life of me understand these reviews.

J'y retournerai.
The food was okay/good, & although the service was a bit slow for us (there was a malfunction with the system), it was still professional & friendly. The menu items were very original, which was probably the best part of the experience. Overall, I had a good time, but I probably wouldn't go back.
Came for the bottomless cacio e pepe special & felt there was indeed a bottom. After our third round our waitress said'you're STILL hungry?' & when we said we were done she said'yeah I think that's plenty'. The cacio e pepe was great but why do you have a bottomless pasta special if you're going to be mad when someone eats a lot of pasta?
Very charming place with a creative menu. For appetisers we had the eclair with arctic char (my personal fav), beef tartare (big mac flavour), panzerotti (smoke meat). The eclair was light & paired nicely with the goat cheese & fish. The beef tartare was unique & something I never had before, but I'd still rather go for a classic tartare. & the panzerotti was overall quite underwhelming because of the lack of filling, & the sides were folded too thick & so some parts of the dough were a bit raw. We also had the spinach gnocchi which was nice & light & the cornbonara which was fun but personally not to my palette. Overall, dishes were executed as described & service was good.
Wow! This was one of the best restaurants I've been to in my life. It is an intimate place with limited seating, but we made a reservation ahead of time & they were able to seat us right away. The drinks are creative & different but still tasted amazing. The food was almost like, classic American food reinvented. We had the steak tartare which was made to mimic a Big Mac - amazing. The pizza pockets were great. The fish was out of this world & the sauce was to die for. For dessert we had the chocolate mouse which was a good portion & paired well with the berry & kettle corn. We are already thinking about a trip back to Montreal just to go to this restaurant again. Do not miss out!!
My partner & I visited Montreal/Quebec City for a week & this was by far our favorite meal! I think the kimchi-rita was the best cocktail I've ever had. The server was super nice & made us feel welcome; & they happily helped us in English! We dined on Wednesday so we got their special, where we could try 5 dishes for $40 each. Would definitely recommend the buffalo mushrooms & the spinach gnocchi. The classic panzerotti was also amazing. Everything tasted like it was fresh & made with love :)
