Absolutely Outstanding Kunafe, A Taste of Authentic Nablus in Montreal!

If you're searching for the real kunafe experience in Montreal, Knafé Stop is the place to go. I've had kunafe in many cities, but nothing compares to what they're doing here, it's authentic, perfectly balanced, & made with real Nabulsi cheese, which is incredibly rare to find in North America.

The kunafe was golden, crispy on the outside, & wonderfully gooey inside with that slightly salty, stretchy Nabulsi cheese that melts in your mouth. You can tell they're using traditional ingredients & techniques, it's not overly sweet like other places that try to imitate the flavor. The sugar syrup is just the right amount, allowing the richness of the cheese & semolina to shine through.

The portion was generous, served warm & fresh, & the texture was spot-on: crunchy top, soft base, & cheese that pulls beautifully. I also appreciated the friendly & welcoming service, the staff were happy to explain the ingredients & even share some of the history behind the dish.

Whether you're familiar with Middle Eastern desserts or trying kunafe for the first time, Knafé Stop delivers an unforgettable experience. You can taste the care & tradition in every bite. A must-visit if you love authentic sweets, or simply want to taste a piece of Palestinian heritage in the heart of Montreal.

We had the Knafé Nabulsié & it's just perfect! The texture, the balance & sweetness! The coffee is rich & tastes so good! Would definitely be back with friends & family!

We ordered a small Nabulsi, a small Madlouka, & some tea & everything was absolutely amazing. The knafe was hands down the best I've ever had, & the tea was fantastic. The owner was incredibly kind & generous, which made the experience even better. We'll definitely be back to try the vermicelli next time!

Amazing & Authentic Nabulsi Knafe. I've been to countless knafe spots around Montreal trying to find something that compares to back home & this is identical. Definitely recommend!
