KINTON RAMEN opened its first location in May 2012, debuting as Toronto’s first authentic Japanese ramen bar. With a dedicated focus on ramen, executive chef Aki Urata is uncompromising in his pursuit to serve the best quality noodles and broth. Our experienced ramen chefs prepare each and every topping, using only the freshest and highest quality ingredients. At KINTON RAMEN we invite you to experience our variety of exceptional ramen bowls, right down to the last drop.
Reviews describe Kinton Ramen as consistently delicious with rich broths, perfectly chewy noodles, and generous portions, with highlights including spicy garlic beef ramen, beef donburi, and pork shoyu. Gyoza and karaage appear frequently as well executed, flavorful sides that complement a comforting, well balanced ramen menu. The atmosphere ranges from cozy and calm to lively, and the staff are repeatedly noted as friendly, attentive, and quick, with takeaway and dine-in options described as fast and convenient and prices viewed as good value. While service is generally praised, a few notes mention slower pacing during peak times or busy days, but the overall sentiment emphasizes a reliable, high quality experience that makes it a favored spot for casual meals with friends or family. In sum, Kinton Ramen is seen as a dependable go-to for satisfying, comforting ramen in a welcoming setting.
Never seen such a small portion of broth with soup noodles. The broth was bland. Haven't had Kinton in years. Just as I remembered it, nothing special.

Overall, not my favorite Ramen joint in Montreal, but if you are in a rush for food - it's a good spot! I completed the Kinton Bowler challenge, but nobody asked if I wanted to be on the Instagram 😔
