This is a pocket friendly restaurant with very good ramen options. The ambience & service is excellent. However, the portions of meat in a bowl of ramen is quite less.

When someone mentions comfort food, i think of Kinton Ramen. Add to that some friendly service & cheese cake.... I'm still full & planning my next visit 😀
The staff re not paying attention to the table. Theres so many clients that are waiting too long to have thier orders taken, & the same thing for the bill. Some people that came in later are being served first. Our soup was not hot, i think it was left in the table for a while before the server was served it.
Actually, it would be a 3.5* review. First of all, they did not have sake (only beer). Second of all, after we asked for the check, we had to wait about 15 minutes (the waitress admitted she forgot about us). Finally, the food was just alright. For instance, we ordered beef shoyu & the beef was really cold & the Tokyo fries were just regular fries (too salty, if you ask me) sprinkled with nori & served with ketchup (no resemblance to what you can normally eat in Asakusa, Shibuya, Shinagawa or Shinjuku, to name only the most popular areas where you can eat proper Tokyo fries). Otherwise, nice interior, good location (across from Carrefour Laval), & decent prices.
Très bons ramen, Nous sommes des habitués & nous ne sommes jamais déçus, sur place ou à emporter, si vous êtes frileux pensez à prendre une petite laine (la clim est un peu trop forte).

Les chaises sont tellement inconfortables de ce resto. Le service était inadéquat. La serveuse nous fait répéter 2 à 3 fois à chaque personne ( nous étions 6) notre commande pour ensuite revenir nous que dû à un bug informatique, il fallait qu'elle reprenne à nouveau nos commandes. En plus, il y a eu plein d'erreurs dans les commandes quand on a reçu nos plats. Elle n'est jamais revenue remplir les verres d'eau. Pas une très bonne expérience & la bouffe était très ordinaire.
J'ai commandé une ramen & entrée de poulet karaage pour emporter. Le service était lent, environ 20 minutes sur place pour avoir ma commande. Quand ma soupe était prête, ça faisait au moins 7 minutes que mon entrée de poulet refroidissait sur le comptoir. Je l'ai fait remarquer au serveur & il semblait insulté que je lui note que mon poulet serait froid. J'ai demandé qu'on m'en refasse d'autre. Il a garocher le poulet & poubelle. La nourriture est bonne mais ça ne vaut pas l'attente & le mauvais service que j'ai eu. Dernière fois pour moi à ce resto.
Very nice & surprising place! I was pleasantly surprise by some of the flavors & twists they put into their Ramens. It's worth giving it a try. The place is also cozy & the prices are fair. Overall very interesting. I will be going back for sure.
