No egg. That's my review. A ramen with no egg, its like you ask for a bigmac, but they dont give you cheese & bigmac sauce. You know the greeting "Irasshaimase"? One dude says it, very off timing, & the others mumble it. Lmao. Also the meat pieces were tiny. This location needs more training, ive eaten at other kinton & they were much better. Tout était bon & Mathis est super il prend même le temps de saluer le monde qui rentre dans le resto en japonais! Le seul downside c'est les chaises du resto sont plus ou moins confortable.Voir plus

The service was fantastic. The waitress was friendly, she was always smiling & she was quite professional. The atmosphere was rather calm for a Saturday night, a bit too calm to be really enjoyable in my opinion. I used to really enjoy the Kinton in downtown Montreal so I was really excited to come try this chain in South Shore but I have to say that the food is definitely not the same in terms of quality. The flavours of the soup were so diluted that the noodles tasted nothing & the meat slices were not soft enough compared to their other chain. I did enjoy the egg however, it was well prepared & had good flavours. We ordered the 4 ramen combo special which also came with gyozas & takoyakis & I have to say that I was quite disappointed when only 4 pieces of each appetizer came to the table. It leaves only one of each appetizer for each person which is really not a lot. For 20$ per person, which comes back to around 27$ after tax & tips, I was really hoping for them to be a bit more generous on the appetizers or on the main dish. It's just too expensive for a ramen meal in my opinion, considering what we were served.Voir plus
