The meat selection was delicious, & the staff were kind & attentive to our table consistently throughout our stay....
The meat was quite on the thicker side compared to other locations.
BUT. the selection of said meat was lackluster, just like the selection of sushi. The location at Boucherville excels in variety over this one.
Additionally, some items took quite a while to arrive. While sushi rolls would take a little to arrive, somehow sashimi, simple slabs of fish with NO rice would take much longer to arrive. (The sashimi portions were generous though)
The Banana frit, however, was completely unsatisfactory.
Beautiful environment, fresh ingredients. Highly recommend their sashimis & beef short ribs. Their squid skewers are amazing too. Will defensively try their bibimbap next time.

J'ai été servi par Simon au restaurant Kimpo & l'expérience a été excellente ! Le service était attentionné & professionnel, & les sashimis étaient tout simplement délicieux - frais, fondants & parfaitement coupés. Une belle ambiance & une équipe accueillante. Je recommande vivement !
Wow! Un énorme coup de coeur. Tout ce que nous avons commandé était excellent & frais (pad thaï, sashimis, sushis, viandes, légumes, etc.). De plus, le service était plus qu'excellent. Le serveur a toujours veillé à ce qu'on ne manque de rien. Nous allons y retourner, c'est certain! :)
Nice food quality & some original presentations, e.g. salmon'pizza', deep fried volcano rolls. Vast selection on the all-you-can-eat menu. The Salmon & tuna sashimi was fresh & excellent!
Had such a great experience at Kimpo with my family last night! The restaurant is so beautifully decorated & clean! The sashimis were especially fresh! Meat selection was great too especially for an AYCE restaurant. The cocktails were really good too, I recommend trying the Lychee Lover! The service was also really fast & all the staff members were kind & helpful! Can't wait to come back with friends!

Pour notre première expérience chez Kimpo, nous avons été agréablement surpris. Le service est irréprochable : courtois, sympathique & d'une efficacité remarquable. La qualité des aliments est globalement très bonne. Les viandes à griller se démarquent par leur fraîcheur & leurs belles coupes, offrant des saveurs parfaitement équilibrées. Les brochettes, bien qu'agréables en goût, se distinguent par une viande de qualité inférieure. Les sashimis, quant à eux, étaient excellents, témoignant de la fraîcheur irréprochable des ingrédients. Les petits plats, comme les soupes, ont également su nous séduire, & mention spéciale pour le Général Tao, qui a été un véritable coup de coeur pour mon conjoint. Bien que les sushis que nous avons goûtés n'étaient pas exceptionnels, il est important de rappeler que Kimpo n'est pas une adresse dédiée aux sushis. Cependant, la diversité & la qualité générale des plats compensent largement ce détail. L'ambiance mérite également d'être soulignée : l'établissement est joliment décoré, avec une attention particulière aux détails, & la propreté est irréprochable. Cela dit, il est important de noter que Kimpo est tout de même un peu dispendieux comparé à d'autres établissements offrant la formule "all you can eat", avec un coût d'environ 50 $ par personne. En somme, Kimpo propose une expérience conviviale & savoureuse qui, malgré son prix un peu élevé, donne envie d'y revenir.
Went there with my family & we all had a great time! Food was amazing! Meat were tender, sashimi were fresh! The food selection is huge. The kitchen items like skewers & noodles were well seasoned! The staffs are welcoming & attentive to your needs. Would definitely go back!
It was one in my list to go eat someday & I decide to take a day off to go on a trip with my husband & my father to eat there altogether & we did NOT regret it ! 🫶 The ambiance, the decoration, the food & everything was ✨️stunning & beautiful✨️ I absolutely love the spacious seat table! My father has legs problems so it was perfect to have the space to sit & has no "crowed" / "feeling tidy" environment ❤️❤️❤️ We absolutely love everything, the portion size of the sashimis was generous & the idea to get the very thin slice of meat it makes the meat cook faster !! (A lot of others BBQ korean place I've been often give a little bit thicker pieces). The service was great! Had no issue with the waiter(s) there 👌 - The only issue I had was that I had a few missing food that I've ordered twice & I even ask to the workers if they could check on it but never received it at all 😅 Unfortunately, I didn't had the chance to try one of the pizza Sushi(s), one of the dessert(s) & some of the entree I've order at the beginning. Also, it did took some time to get the bill (we wait for maybe half hour for the bill as we had a long trip to go back home but we don't have any others problems beside the little slowness), maybe on my next visit! 💗
Super & bel endroit! La nourriture est délicieuse & de qualité (Viande, sashimi de saumon). Toute l'équipe est attentionnée & le serveur Joshua est un excellent serveur. Par contre, je changerais la recette du kimchi (trop sucré & texture épaisse). Je recommande & j'y reviendrai assurément!
J'ai dîné à Kimpo & j'ai été époustouflé ! L'ambiance est à la fois moderne & chaleureuse, & le service est impeccable. Le menu offre un parfait mélange de plats authentiques & innovants. J'ai adoré le choix de viandes du BBQ, & les sashimis était vraiment frais & haute qualité. La crème glacée à volonté a été une fin de repas délicieuse. Meilleur menu à volonté coréen dans la grande région de Montréal!
