The day before they moved out, I've felt like I belonged in this divine restaurant. The service is like family, they do their best & it always touches me deeply. Their food can't be any better, it's perfect at its divinest taste. This restaurant is a MUST visit.
This Chinese restaurant has Vietnamese speaking staff & has a variety of Asian dishes that are quite reasonably priced when you consider that most of the dishes are large enough to be shared by 3 to 4 people.
The best way to enjoy this restaurant is to order several different dishes & share with friends/family....
We were a table of 5 people & spent only about $120 for supper , which is quite acceptable.
This restaurant is located in Saint-Michel area, in this part of Montreal, the population are quite diverse, just like a United nations. It has free parking Infront of the restaurant & more free parking are available on the right hand side. The restaurant specialised in Chinese cuisne chiu chao style & Thai, it's clientel are mostly asian, what that means is this is a authentic chinese restaurant that serve authentic traditional dishes, it is a relatively big restaurant, its capacity is around 200 People, it's decor are simple & traditional, it has 20+ tables, most are bigger round table for the whole family. As for the food, we ordered 4 specialty dishes like Boneless chicken feet,Thai style, it is quite spicy & serve with alot of onion , coriander, shredded mini pepper & shallots, another dish is Tong choi (hollow vegetable) with fermented chinese cheese (fu yu), this one is ok, the third & fourth dishes that we ordered is the fresh clams in black bean sauce & boiled beef with house soya sauce, these two dishes both are excellent, our family had downed 2-3 bowls of steamed rice for that, overall the food is good, we really enjoyed it, I will recommend this restaurant for anyone that likes Chinese cuisne.
Kim Hour is the best chinese/Cambodian fusion restaurant. Never disappointed when I come eat here. The menu has lots of choices, so you’ll find something to eat!! It always hit the spot!
It is also a BYOW, so it’s nice to have a drink & the delicious food!
It is a family run business & like a lot of business, hiring staffs haven’t been easy. So the service may not be consistent, but they are doing their best to serve a very busy restaurant.
