Kif Kif is widely celebrated as a vibrant and inviting destination, praised for its fresh, flavorful Middle Eastern cuisine and elevated sharing plates. Guests frequently highlight the exceptional pita bread, creamy hummus, and standout dishes like the schnitzel and salmon skewers as reasons to return. While the atmosphere is consistently described as beautiful and lively, some diners note that the restaurant can become quite loud and tables are positioned close together. Service is largely described as warm, professional, and highly attentive, with many patrons commending the staff for their hospitality and accommodating nature. Although minor concerns regarding billing transparency, pacing, and noise levels are occasionally mentioned, the overall consensus is that this restaurant offers an memorable and delicious dining experience that keeps guests coming back.
Maybe 1* is harsh, but I'm gonna start calling it the'ratan chair' phenomenon. Go to a place where the chairs are ratan & they'll overcharge you for mid food & service, 9 times out of 10.
Sampled: vegetable slaw, pita with tomato & cheese-like a mini pizza, eggplant spread-served with pita, chicken skewers with yogurt sauce, beet salad, chocolate babka. Meal was great! Went early so it was quiet. Lovely ambience. Looking forward to trying their lunch menu.
We loved the food & atmosphere here! We sat at the bar & talked to the bartender a lot, she was super attentive! The muhammara & eggplant dips were delicious. We got the schnitzel as our main & loved that too! We're already planning to come back to try more things on the menu.
Amazing experience at Kif Kif. The food was absolutely delicious & the style of the restaurant is beautiful & welcoming. The service was great from start to finish.
I really loved the Persian inspiration behind many of the dishes (although not a persian restaurant) - it felt unique & thoughtfully done. What stood out most is how the restaurant incorporates influences from different cultures into the food, creating something creative & memorable.
An absolutely outstanding dining experience at Kif Kif from start to finish. The food was simply incredible - for me, taste is everything, & this place exceeded all expectations. Every bite was packed with flavor, & the quality was unmistakable. I was pleasantly surprised by the subtle Persian touch added to a Mediterranean cuisine; it was unique, creative, & worked beautifully.
The atmosphere was just as impressive. The decor is thoughtfully designed, with great attention to detail - especially the lighting, which really elevated the overall ambiance & made the space feel warm & inviting.
Our waitress was super friendly, welcoming, & attentive, which made the experience even better. The manager, Pierre, was kind enough to come greet us personally - such a well-spoken, professional, & genuinely pleasant person. It truly shows when leadership cares about the guests.
We were also lucky enough to meet the chef, Alireza. What an amazing job he's done. Not only was his food exceptional, but he is also incredibly welcoming & friendly. You can feel his passion in the dishes he creates. I genuinely can't wait to go back & experience more of his food - I see a very bright future ahead for him in the food industry.
Highly recommend. This place is a gem, & I'll definitely be returning.
Attentive staff in an attractive & comfortable atmosphere. The food was great , with the best hummus, bread & falafel I've had anywhere . I was with a group of 4 friends & since the plates are sharing plates , we had to order more than one of each of course . If you have a big appetite, you may leave hungry if you don't order quite a few plates for each person. The only bone I have to pick so to speak is that my friend who made the reservation did not say she was told there was a 90 minute dinner time limit ..
We were told the next reservation had arrived around the 85 minute mark & did not have time to order dessert or coffee . Maybe if someone would have mentioned this at the outset we would not have been disappointed to leave , in addition since we had someone visiting from Vancouver .
Servers seemed overwhelmed
The place is modern, tables packed together, no thought put into noise reduction.
Wrong rests for the 95 yr old couple I dined with.
Food was excellent, but no explanation that only one pita came with each dip.
