Excellent restaurant thaï très authentique. Si vous demandez que la salade de papaye soit comme en Thaïlande, elle sera très piquante ce que j'ai personnellement beaucoup apprécié, mais ne vous inquiétez pas, le personnel s'enquiert de votre préférence. Le cari vert est superbe ainsi que le laarb & le porc croustillant également. Je recommande!View more

I ordered the pad Thai, medium spicy. Not only was it delivered quickly, it was freshly made & very tasty. Very generous portion. I plan to try some of their other dishes in the future.

i got takeout & the chicken pad thai with iced Thai green milk tea was quite good! however, they did not give lemons for the pad thai which was a bit disappointing bc i loooove eating pad thai with a bit of ZEST. anyway, the Thai green milk tea WAS SOOOOOO good. probably one of the best Thai green milk tea i've ever had.View more

We bought Pad Kra Pao, Crispy shrimp, Thai fried rice & mango sticky rice. We came to Montreal for a short vacation & after a very long time I had "authentic thai food" at Khao San Montreal. Food was so good, portion size & prices are reasonable. Will definitely come back when we visit Montreal again. Was craving for Thai & it definitely hit the spot! Best thai food ever! Coming from a person who visited Bangkok frequently. Staff is super kind & friendly & helpful!View more

I love Thai food! What I love more is AUTHENTIC Thai food. Khao San Resto didn't disappoint at all. The food & service exceeded my expectations. Eating there truly brought back memories when I visited Thailand years ago. We ordered mango salad, red curry with shrimp, & beef stir fry with ginger. We also got vegetarian & shrimp Tom Yum soup. Our server was Gooi & she was great! I'm definitely coming back here to try more dishes!View more

Khao San Resto Thai is amazing. The food is absolutely delicious. We couldn't stop eating & finished every dish we ordered. I highly recommend the Tom Kha Soup, green papaya salad, & red curry. They are all unique & full of flavor. If you are looking for authentic & tasty Thai food, this is the place to go. I wish I could lived in Montreal, so that I can go there every week!View more

SO GOOOOD! Not going to lie, most of the Thai food I've had in Montreal feels either over-priced, under-spiced, or just not full of enough veggies/protein/etc. Khao San was NOT that. It's run by Thai folks & is so much better than much of the either awful fast food chain Thai food & is comparable to places that are way overpriced (imo). The food was really delicious (though I always want more veggies in anything I order), & I will be coming back for the lunch special. Keep making food that tasty at that price, & Khao San will be my go to for Thai food in downtown MTL no questions. *If you're looking for a cute date night spot, this is probably not the spot, but it satisfies all my other needs so so well.*View more

Generous portion but disappointing taste & high price considering the quality. My experience was definitely far from the 5 stars average rating they have. I had pineapple fried rice & there was only a few pineapple pieces that were white & didn't taste like much... So basically it tasted just like a regular fried rice, no sweet pineapple flavor it was really disappointing. & the fried rice itself was not particularly well made. Chicken was a bit dry, but the rest not fried enough. There was also a cold air draft in the dining room (probably alimenting their fumehood from a wrong air intake) so it was uncomfortable. Also, they advertize a lunch special outside but charged me full price actually. Also, it's kind of a fast food style restaurant where the kitchen staff will actually tell you go sit, bring you a menu & bring your plate, but you don't really get an attentive table service otherwise... But they do suggest generous tipping in the 15-25% range on the terminal when paying which is a bit much for a minimal service. Long story short, ok restaurant, but very far away from deserving its current high rating in my experience. Food, comfort & service were all lacking.View more

I recently visited Thai Khao San & loved their papaya salad & mango sticky rice! The papaya salad was a perfect balance of sweet, sour, salty, & spicy, with crisp green papaya & a satisfying crunch from the peanuts. The mango sticky rice was heavenly-soft, sweet rice paired with juicy, ripe mango & creamy coconut drizzle. Both dishes were fresh, flavorful, & beautifully presented.
