We were a party of five, four adults & a child. We ordered a couple of items off the winter grill. T-Bone, & mushroom truffle sirloin, both were well received. At the Keg, I would add both the Double-booked potato & Escargot are a must. Server Angelo & the chef were great, helping to accommodate one person in our group who needed a low sodium meal, & nut free for three others. However, the young hostess who lead us to our table was anything but polite.

The server was not very helpful, i asked for mayo, never showed up. I had the new york steak with pepper & that had more pepper than steak, it was painful to eat it & the meat was not medium rare as asked. The tuna tartare was great & fresh.
Great place for allergies! My girlfriend's severe egg allergies were greatly taken care of from the moment of our reservation. I left a note on the online reservation & when the waitress came to our table she was already aware of it. She checked with the kitchen staff & the manager on duty also came to explain everything to make us feel safe. Will definitely come here again next time we visit Montreal!
Excellent food. Service was really good even after our server had a large table seated in his section. We had the Tuna Tartare & the Calamari to start which were great & the 10oz Filet for our mains & they were cooked to perfection. One of us had the prime rib which was also cooked to perfection. Highly recommend!
Love this spot! They have a really good happy hour before 6pm, with a nice selection of cocktails & food. The bar section is really nice spot to sit as they have booths & feels very cozy. We came Friday night & were served by Greg who was super friendly & had some good suggestions. The wings were delicious. Will definitely be back soon.
I went to this high class steak restaurant last week, with a group of 10 people, we all were satisfied with the food & service.

Les steaks réputés du Keg. Un excellent service. Pour l'ambiance, vu que c'était un soir de milieu de semaine en hiver, le resto était vide & même avec une table avec vue sur la rue.... Rien à voir 🤷. Donc mon évaluation n'est pas valide pour un beau soir de week-end en été où le vieux Montréal déborde, vous comprendrez 😉

Great steak place. We ordered the côte de boeuf (10 oz), surlonge, & the salmon plate. Everything was excellent-from the salads to the side vegetables & fries. We finished with dessert: the Tarte Billy, an iced mocha dessert, which was the perfect ending. Highly recommend.
Went here for dinner & it was really good!!! The server Jacob was very nice & friendly! The top sirloin was dry because it was thin but they made up for it!
Good service, decent food. We had made reservations for 4 on Valentine's Day. 2 adults, 2 kids. When we got there, they looked up our reservations & said it was at the bar, which is 18+ so that wasn't going to work. Fortunately, it was early, & Esteban found us another table in the restaurant after a few minutes. Initially they were a bit dismissive that the reservations were done on open table, & not directly with the restaurant - but the restaurant web site uses open table, so that felt a bit dumb. The food was good, as expected. The blender was broken, apparently, so no smoothie for the kids, & an order for Pineapple juice turned into an orange juice - I guess the bartender was having a bad day. Server was very nice & prompt & attentive. We got comped a nice piece of cake for the daughter's birthday. Overall a good experience.

Same menu as most other keg restaurants I've been to. Service here was top notch! I never went thirsty, my cup was always refilled. Service of the food was quick! Cesar salad was delicious. Steak was cooked to order. & ofcourse Billy minor pie was fabulous as always. Nice treat!
Nous sommes allés à ce restaurant pour l'anniversaire d'une amie. Le service est bon & l'ambiance est agréable. Au départ j'étais perplexe des choix offerts pour la carte des vins. Je n'ai aucunement voulu être désagréable, je connais bien les vins alors j'ai posé quelques questions. J'aurais pas dû car le serveur a été arrogant avec moi tout le restant de la soirée & je ne suis pas la seule à l'avoir remarqué.
En somme, c'est quand même un bel endroit à essayer quand on est de passage au Vieux-Port. Cependant, connaissant beaucoup de bons restaurants à Montréal, je ne vais pas y retourner.
Amazing food! the steaks were cooked to perfection. Our waitress Sydney was amazing, really sweet & attentive to my boyfriend's nut allergy! Even the manager came out to assure us everything was going to be nut free, which is amazing service, we were very pleased! It was my boyfriend's birthday & they also gave us complementary cake at the end which was delicious!
Un de mes restaurants favoris, la nourriture est toujours excellente peux importe l'assiette que je prend, le service est irréprochable & il y a toujours une belle ambiance.
Je recommande fortement.
