Excellent food & extremely reasonable prices. There's a lineup outside but 1000% worth the wait.
Great tasting food. Be prepared to wait for a table if you don't get there at opening.
3 words. Worth the wait.
The food here is absolutely fantastic. You may be greater by a 30-45 minute wait, but wow is it worth it. The Japanese curry is absolutely fantastic, & the beef ribs, amazing.
The service is really quick & friendly.
Perfect for a quick date night.
Recommend 10/10.
Let me tell you it is worth it.
We got there close to 7 & waited around an hour. Their staple menu looks good but they also have a very large collection of special menus posted on the wall that presumably rotates frequently. I got what's likely their most expensive dish, grilled black cod, & the taste blew my mind. The fish was cooked perfectly with a complex flavor of sauces. I would wait an hour to eat this any day.
My partner ordered an assortment of appetizers. He said they were also good, but not as good as what I had. So I guess your experience will depend on what you order.
Fantastic Japanese Restaurant!
Delicious food, fair prices, & a unique atmosphere make this place a standout. The staff is warm & attentive, adding to the overall great experience. Loved every moment-highly recommend!
The beef ribs, 48h pork, yakitori skewers, gyoza were beautiful. Also the homemade fortune cookies & coconut sorbet. Everyone, owners & waiters had amazing smiles & vibes. Worth the wait
I could eat here every day of the week. Yes the wait is very long but the service, the food & the drinks are incredible. Everything tasted fresh & the staff give the best service. I can't wait to go back. The price for ordering 3 dishes, 4 drinks for two people & a dessert was less than $100.
literally the best food i had while in Montreal & the portion sizes/price cannot be beat.
got there right at 5 & didn't have to wait but there was a long line when i left. Incredibly flavourful & well done basics, the service was so quick. not very personable but they're swamped from the second they open so it's understandable. I got the Vegetarian Bowl with their homemade tofu & the pan fried chicken dumplings. it was so much food I couldn't finish it but it literally costed $20. 10/10!
Real amazing authentic experience at Kazu. The food is 😍🤤 & the portions more than generous. Highly recommend the homemade toffu on Sundays. We will definitly come back to try the rest of their large menu.
We enjoyed our experience very much! The food was delicious & it was enjoyable to watch the chefs prep dishes from our bar seats. Worth the wait in line! Very fair prices as well.
