About

Karahi Point specializes in authentic Pakistani and Indian cuisine, emphasizing the traditional preparation of meat and vegetable dishes cooked in heavy cast-iron woks. The menu features signature karahi preparations where fresh spices, ginger, and tomatoes create deep, complex flavor profiles that define the establishment. Patrons select from a wide variety of protein options, including tender goat and chicken, all served alongside freshly baked naan from the clay oven. The atmosphere centers on the aromatic intensity of charcoal-grilled tandoori specialties and slow-cooked curries. Ingredients are selected to maintain the bold, spicy authenticity characteristic of the regional culinary traditions offered here. Each dish undergoes a rigorous cooking process to ensure that the heat levels and spice balances align with the classic expectations of Pakistani street-style preparation in a focused, unpretentious environment.

Review Summary

Karahi Point is widely celebrated for its authentic and flavorful Pakistani cuisine, with many diners highlighting the signature karahi dishes, tender goat and chicken, and fresh, soft naan as standout menu items. Visitors frequently commend the warm, welcoming atmosphere and the consistently high level of hospitality provided by the staff, who are often described as attentive, knowledgeable, and accommodating. While the vast majority of guests enjoy a wonderful experience with generous portions and rich, homemade-style flavors, opinions on pricing and spice levels vary. The chicken karahi had fish taste...totally unacceptable.
Beef seekh kababs were ok & naan not so bad either.
The fact that chicken karahi had fish taste & smell left bad taste.
This was the 3rd time & the last time.

I remember last time the Tikka Biryani was very nice but i dont know what was wrong yesterday only green chutney/sauce was nice. We tried samosa chaat, papri chat, bihari boti, tikka biryani, signature krahi, fish pakora, & qeema. Only Fish Pakora was good in taste but was not crispy wasnt tried well.
Bihari boti was broken. It was becoming qeema on a touch. It was tasteless. Tikka in Biryani was looking made of rotten chicken. We complained for it & the waitress didnt bother to say sorry once. She was arguing that its good. Signature Karahi taste was very normal. Qeema was also normal taste. Naans were very bad maybe they were frozen naans. I wonder why a cook doesnt know how to make a naan.

Delicious & well executed! It's definitely an option on the south shore. The service is quick & efficient. No wait & could get a table without reservation a Friday night.

Will order here again :)
