Karahi Point specializes in authentic Pakistani and Indian cuisine, emphasizing the traditional preparation of meat and vegetable dishes cooked in heavy cast-iron woks. The menu features signature karahi preparations where fresh spices, ginger, and tomatoes create deep, complex flavor profiles that define the establishment. Patrons select from a wide variety of protein options, including tender goat and chicken, all served alongside freshly baked naan from the clay oven. The atmosphere centers on the aromatic intensity of charcoal-grilled tandoori specialties and slow-cooked curries. Ingredients are selected to maintain the bold, spicy authenticity characteristic of the regional culinary traditions offered here. Each dish undergoes a rigorous cooking process to ensure that the heat levels and spice balances align with the classic expectations of Pakistani street-style preparation in a focused, unpretentious environment.

We had a wonderful dining experience at Karai Point in Montreal on last weekend! We ordered tandoori chicken, biryani, daal makhani with garlic naan, & plain rice. Everything was flavorful, fresh, & full of authentic South Asian flavors.
The tandoori chicken was juicy & perfectly seasoned, & the biryani was aromatic & delicious. The daal makhani was creamy, rich, & comforting, while the garlic naan was soft & fresh-perfect with the daal. The plain rice was also cooked perfectly & complemented the dishes nicely.
The portions were generous, & everything tasted homemade & satisfying. Overall, a great place to enjoy Pakistani/Indian food in Montreal with family or friends. Definitely recommend Karai Point & would love to visit again! ❤?🍗🍚🫓
We recently hosted my daughter's birthday party at Karahi Point, & the experience was amazing! The staff was extremely friendly, organized, & made sure everything went smoothly. The food was fresh, authentic, & full of flavor - everyone loved the Pakistani dishes. Highly recommend this place for family gatherings & special events!
⭐?⭐?⭐?⭐?⭐? Amazing Pakistani Restaurant - A True Taste of Home! 🇵🇰🔥
We tried the combo platter, which included:
🥘 Half Chicken Karahi
🥖 2 Fresh Naans
🍢 3 Chicken Kebabs
🍮 2 Gulab Jamun
We also ordered the Chicken Dum Biryani separately.
First, let me say - the combo is absolutely worth it! 💯 The chicken karahi is their signature dish & it truly stands out. The flavors were rich, bold, & perfectly balanced with that authentic desi spice level. You can tell it's cooked properly in traditional style. Definitely a must-try if you visit! 🔥👌
The chicken kebabs were juicy & flavorful, & the naan was fresh & soft - perfect for scooping up that karahi gravy 🤤
The gulab jamun was another highlight - super soft, warm, & soaked perfectly in syrup. 🍮✨
Now, about the Chicken Dum Biryani - unfortunately, it was served cold & the taste didn't quite match the authenticity of the other dishes. It wasn't bad, but compared to the karahi, it didn't stand out.
?
Overall, this place genuinely impressed me. ❤?
Ever since my trip to Pakistan 🇵🇰, I've been searching for food that truly captures those real, traditional flavors - & I finally found it here. This restaurant honestly brought back memories of Pakistan. The taste feels authentic & made with care.
The owners & staff are incredibly warm, welcoming, & attentive. Their hospitality adds so much to the experience. You can feel that they genuinely care about their customers. 🙌✨
The Goat Karahi (if you try it!) is outstanding - perfectly cooked, full of deep flavor, & truly authentic. As someone who has high standards for desi food (especially coming from New York standards 😄), this place absolutely delivers on taste & quality.
If you're visiting Montreal & craving real Pakistani food done right, I highly recommend Karahi Point to anyone & everyone. 🍽?🔥
Sat Jan 17th 2026 we four of us adult visited this restaurant for our dinner. Lots of parking available & enough space inside restaurant. Segment of restaurant that was garage modified area where we had our table, was a bit cooler. Perhaps not proper insulation done while modification was carried out, so we were feeling a bit cold so we put our jackets on again.
Our table order was taken by Jaspeer who was giving us good suggestion while selecting dishes.
For appetizer we got chicken pakora & chicken bbq & they were reasonable. Chicken tikka biryani was reasonable but noted that it was brought in a small flat steel dish that was difficult to take from without getting rice falling on the table. Chicken karhai was warm & nice. Nihari was mediocre but hot. Nihari must be provided with some garnishing but they did not provide Any. We had to ask green chilli. Nan were sub standard.
Sometime we go to desi restaurant only with attraction of clay nan.
Overall food were served hot & medium taste. No one came to our table while starting our food or in the middle to ask if all was ok or if we needed something in addition. At the end Jaspeer might think we were a bit uncomfortable so she asked if anything we did not like, she would not charge but I told her, no all were ok.
When we were almost done, a lady came to ask if food was ok (we were wondering if she listened our conversation)
Finally when giving bill, found out they didn't ask for tip or they didn't charge any.
Suggestion: if they want to improve business. Please add some more attendant & train them to show some courtesy to improve customer experience.
Give warm feeling an if they have cooling efficiency issue, many solutions possible.
Also pay attention to some points above. Your foods are average but most desi restaurant has average as well. But service sometime makes big difference .
Charge tip in return of good warm courteous service.
Thanks
Went there for a date night yesterday with my partner. Service was friendly, fast & efficient. We got the chicken pakora for starters & the lamb karahi & naan (2 garlic & 2 plain) as the main dish. Both dishes were served piping hot & were very tasty. I wished the naan could have been a little softer but maybe that's the way they make it. Both naans were filling & large in portion. The Karahi was easily shared between the two of us & we took away one portion that was leftover as well. We also took away about 4 pieces of naan with us so one can imagine that they were huge. We spent about 85 dollars all together so it does add up quickly. But we would visit again!
The food was amazing. If you love sharing dishes this place was awesome we were recommended the Karahi & the biryani & with reason it was absolutely amazing. & the staff was super nice. Definitely recommend going there.
The food was excellent & service was impeccable. The decor & ambience were nice.
We were a group of 3 & got Nahari, Butter Chicken & Karahi Chicken Boneless with 3 portions of butter naan on the side. The meat in all the dishes was cooked perfectly. In all, it cost 99$ with tax & tip.
If you don't like cilantro or coriander, I wouldn't recommend the Nahari or Karahi Chicken as there is a lot of it in the sauce. There is a wide variety of items on the menu & we will be back again to try some more.
If i gonna start a talk about their restaurant. Their food & staff, they both are very nice. Specially their chicken tikka biryani & their karahi chicken( mouth watering dishes)💕
FOOD POISONING!!!
I tried the food with my family for first time yesterday. The taste was yum, we happily tipped more & came from the restaurant.
But then the whole family is hit with food poisoning. I am 39 weeks pregnant & dealing with the food poisoning now .
Didn't expect such a thing from the a reputed restaurant. So disappointed 😞.
We ordered & shared this dishes: Chicken pakora, karahi boneless chicken, poori paratha & chicken biriyani.
