Karahi Point draws broad praise for delicious, authentic Pakistani cuisine with bold flavors and generous portions, served in a warm, welcoming atmosphere by friendly and attentive staff; reviewers highlight signature dishes such as chicken karahi, goat karahi, butter chicken, kebabs, and naan, and many appreciate the Ramadan buffet and catering options for groups. While visits are described as outstanding by many, some reviews note occasional heating issues in the dining area, dishes arriving cold or with uneven quality, long waits during busy periods, and prices that can feel high for the portion size. Overall the place is seen as a standout for real desi flavors in Montreal and tends to generate repeat visits from families and friends.
Went for the first time to this restaurant. The food was excellent, freshly made after its ordered, so it takes a little time to get your dishes. The service is great, people so friendly. The dishes are large portions which you can bring home. Ample parking, wheelchair accessible.
Very impressed with the flavors (delicious food) the service was excellent (very friendly) & very good atmosphere. The staff surprised us with a really nice dessert when they knew we were celebrating my boyfriends birthday that was the cherry on the top of this great experience
An excellent Pakistani restaurant on the South Shore. The Karahi dishes (meats cooked in a wok, a signature dish across Pakistan) are good but try their Chicken Reshmi Handi for a very unique taste - chicken & chunks of paneer cooked in a clay pot in the oven with a white sauce. as well, their Bahari Kababs are really excellent
______________________ Nice welcome from the owner. Nice variety of dishes, some similar to Indian restaurants, others resolutely Pakistani. Nice portions of meat for each of our dishes & the naan bread was sincerely one of the best I've tasted. My daughter tried the mango lassi & loved it. The only fault? The atmosphere, the lighting is a little too bright & it doesn't do justice to their excellent dishes.
Both the butter chicken & the tikka masala were extremely spicy. I can't tell if they tasted good because of the spiciness. It would be good if we can pick how spicy we want the dish to be. The naan & rice were good.
What a fantastic food (5 ⭐️for the Chef) We thoroughly enjoyed Chicken Karahi That was a delicious meal. a very satisfying atmosphere & great customer service. Over all I highly recommend Pakistani food lovers to try this place u won't be disappointed 👍
In my opinion, this is the most authentic tasting Pakistani restaurant in Montreal. Order their signature or special Karahi or Handi dishes. For my non-Pakistani friends, butter chicken is not a Pakistani dish, so don't use that as your basis of opinion 😉
