Went there with work for a 5a7 & enjoyed the wonderful service, great drinks & superbly creative bites they had on offer. Yes it's on the pricy side but we had a great time enjoying such a small but refined night space.
It's a bit of a shame that the water damage caused the original kampai to close. I missed the pool tables & couches, but this spot does try hard to keep the kampai vibes going despite being somewhat harder to find (entrance at the back of Faubourg) & the vibes being about scaled back by a third.Voir plus

Seul point négatif à partir de 23h aucune possibilité de prendre un drink obligation d'acheter une btl sinon impossible d'acheter quoi que ce soit!! Je recommande cette endroit j'ai adoré mon expérience!!

Good drinks & service, however the food is overpriced for the quality/size of portions. Spent 200$ for 2 (only ordered 3 drinks for both of us) & left still hungry by the end. Would go again for drinks, but not to eat.

Food & drinks were great, interior was very classy, the music was good (can't hear each other speak most of the time though). Coat check is free. The service was slow, but overall a fun time!

Great vibe, service & food were amazing! Only thing is its a bit pricey but a great place for drinks & some shared appetizers. Definitely recommend the dumplings & tataki. Also a great place for nut allergies as the entire menu is nut free!

Service was subpar. Arrived a couple minutes before our reservation. Table wasn't ready so we sat at the bar to wait & ordered a drink (which took far too long). 15 minutes pass & we had to go back to check in with the host. They forgot about us! Food made up for the service at least. Won't be going back anytime soon.

I was happy that Kampai seemed to be so accommodating during our correspondence in arranging a surprise gathering for a friend. However, upon arrival the hostess was quick to say that I had no reservation then corrected herself. I had mentioned to her that I was told by the manager that it was okay to come in a half hour before my reservation to decorate. She went on to tell me that she wasn't told about it. No effort to try to solve the situation as I had a time limit before people began showing up. Mind you I had just confirmed everything same day with the manager that afternoon. I excused myself to email the manager myself or find previous emails to show proof. Only when I walked back in the restaurant, someone else was standing with the hostess this time. When I mentioned my situation, her coworker immediately told me that it was no problem & I could go ahead & begin decorating. I looked over at the hostess because WTF & all she had to say was that no one told her anything, not that I couldn't go in & not decorate. Luckily the main guest ended up being late so everything worked out but she definitely put me back on my specific time frame which i absolutely don't appreciate in the list. She only seemed to change her tune, in my opinion when someone else seemed to have no problem with it. Wasn't cool at all. & considering the hostess is the first point of entry, she can do with a slightly better attitude.
BUT! Besides that, I enjoyed the food, the drinks & all at a good price. Me & my group definitely enjoyed ourselves
