Kaizen Manga Café est décrit comme un lieu chaleureux et polyvalent où l'on peut lire, travailler ou se détendre, grâce à une vaste bibliothèque de mangas, des boissons au matcha variées et des plats comme des banh mi et des onigiris. Finally visited after seeing the Tiktoks about this place. It was very lovely. For $15 I was able to get a snack & drink of choice & spend some time downstairs reading manga or working. I chose the Mango Spritz & a veggie ramen. Both were very delicious. They had a great assortment of both English & French manga as well as a good range of PG & 18+ books to choose from. They had some nice J-pop & anime OSTs playing in the background while I read.
If you're thinking of visiting I say do so! It was very cozy & a good spot to read or work.

Expérience au complet, culinairement mais aussi l'ambiance, le décor.
On a été reçue par 2 jeunes femme très agréable!
J'ai pris un matcha mangue & un sandwich tonkastu un vrai festin!

Perfectly decent place, the staff are very polite & the space is well-decorated. However, the drinks are mediocre, considering the price, the location isn't equipped for warmer months, as it lacks AC, & the manga selection leaves a lot to be desired.
Seems great as a community hub, if you're a member. But if you're a passerby, I would only recommend it if you have very generalized taste in manga, or come with easily impressed teenagers.
We were here to attend a wedding for the weekend & I got a latte at this place pretty much every morning haha.
Sarah (hopefully I spelled that right) was super nice & the vibes in the cafe was cool & calm.
Their raspberry matcha is to die for! Also amazing & friendly service from the owner, who's always a pleasure to talk to ☺?. In an area with matcha places practically everywhere, Kaizen is definitely my favourite by far. Their seats are super comfy & it's a great spot to catch up on work or to just take a break. They also have some really good sparkling sodas if you're not in the mood for something caffeinated, I really recommend the mango/yuzu one!

A great place to read Manga. Great selection of it. Great food options. Out of all the matcha places i tried so far, this is the place that makes the best matcha drinks. Staff is great, friendly & always happy to serve you.

Sarah m'a réconciliée avec le matcha avec son matcha à la purée de mangue 🤤 sans parler du banh mi au poulet qui était excellent!! Merci Wendy & Sarah pour gentillesse & votre qualité de service! Hâte de revenir pour tester le reste de la carte!!
Been there a few times. Excellent experience every time! Immaculate vibe. Their food is so good. It's prepared with so much care, & they took my review seriously when I asked for halal options >:) (which I really appreciate, thank you so much 🙏). Definitely try the chicken banh mi, it's delicious! But be prepared to always crave it LOL Also, the staff is super nice. Every time I go, we end up having long conversations about literally anything. It's such a fun place, can't recommend it enough!!
Mon premier matcha (mieux vaut tard que jamais) & c'était délicieux & rafraîchissant :) En plus, la barista était gentille & a pris le temps de m'expliquer comment elle prépare ses boissons au matcha
C'était vraiment une magnifique surprise 😍 Tout été bien les boissons, la nourriture & l'espace de lecture. La propriétaire est très gentille & accueillante, merci à elle ☺?

Some of the best matcha you'll get at an affordable price! The owner is the sweetest ever & always tries to accommodate. Their flavors are amazing! Atmosphere is so cute & super good for students as it's near the metro & Concordia!!! They're hot matcha are to die for in winter time

This place was great! A really simple concept that is well executed.This was my first time drinking matcha & I was certainly not disappointed, though, sadly, I forgot to take pictures for the review. The atmosphere is cozy, the drinks are great & the staff is super friendly, not to mention the wide variety of manga. I have been there once, but will definitely return. I highly recommend this place to anyone that just wants a place to read, study or simply chat with friends.
I ordered matcha raspberry which was perfect but what ruined my experience was the bad smell in the hall & the uncleanness of the stuff & seeing almost everywhere bunch of hair even on the stir sticks. Would be much better if you take care of that & be more cautious
