Kaizen Manga Café est largement apprécié pour ses boissons au matcha de qualité et son cadre chaleureux et inclusif qui fait office de lieu communautaire pour les fans de mangas et les étudiants. Le menu propose des banh mi savoureux, des onigiri, des ramen et des desserts comme le tiramisu au matcha et le matcha d'Okinawa, avec des cookies et des ingrédients frais; une vaste bibliothèque de mangas, des sièges confortables et une ambiance calme invitent à lire, étudier ou se retrouver entre amis. Le personnel est sympathique et serviable, et des options flexibles comme les abonnements ou les crédits alimentaires facilitent les longues visites, avec une ambiance propice au travail et des événements le week-end. Certains points négatifs mentionnés incluent la chaleur durant les mois chauds faute de climatisation, des incohérences occasionnelles de service et des questions de rapport qualité prix pour certains plats. One of my favorite places to hang out in the city, & Sara (the owner) is the loveliest & most welcoming host!!! I definitely recommend getting a membership & making it to any activities when you can. Despite a busy schedule, every time I go, I feel so
welcomed :)
Love love love this cafe !!
The memberships might feel weird at first but most of the money goes in food credit. The activities are fun & you can join an amazing community.
The desserts are super tasty (particularly the matcha tiramisu & the okinawa matcha)

Very nice little cafe, i absolutely adoreee their Raspberry Matcha with the Raspberry cold foam, my favourite matcha ever!!! It is an insane flavour combo. Not really a cafe to go study (unless you have a pass/subscription to their other floor) but you can still sit down & eat or drink, they have two seats for that. Very nice employees & good service always!
Amazing drinks, the owner knows how to make real legit matchas (saying as a matcha snob, not many places get it right)-they also source their matcha from a local Japanese matcha company/person in Montreal. They use fresh ingredients & the owner is super approachable & friendly :)
La nourriture était vraiment bonne & le service excellent! J'ai pu avoir la nourriture assez vite pour attraper mon train 😁 Le matcha était très bon & j'ai adoré les onigiris!

I met the owner there today & they were so sweet! They explained the study space concept for students who want to work, eat/drink, & stay accountable. They have a form you can fill out to let them know how often you might want to checked on. You can set goals & stay on track that way! They have a 10% student discount which always appreciated. They have a TV, water station, & a full library of mangas to read or buy there. Their food is delicious & their matcha drinks are great! It's a perfect café to chill out or study in & the aesthetic is super cute too.
Had a good time here! Love the ambiance & the place is so cute & colorful, so many mangas to choose from! The owner is so nice & easy to talk to!
We ordered a spicy salmon onigiri & a tofu onigirazu, both fillings were good, but the rice was missing seasoning. For the drinks, we ordered one double-double matcha & one raspberry matcha. Both were creamy & yummy & the presentation was great. The orders are brought to your table! (There is a good amount of seats, for all groups) I also got the okinawa sugar latte to-go, very good!
They have an hourly fee, which is $2. But there's also a member option which is really good if you go daily/weekly, it removes the hourly fee & you can stay for an unlimited time & read all the mangas you want!
I remember going there for a collaboration with an artist, the food hits the right spot & the Mango matcha drink was the perfect balance of bitterness & sweetness that's hard to come by. I highly recommend this manga cafe if you have an hour or two to kill while reading manga & eating a bite! (*^?^)/★*☆♪

first time trying this place, the vibe is nice, the service was great & my drink was delicious. not sure if they have bigger size options but i hope so because I need more of the delicious raspberry matcha😁 They also have a student discount which is nice.
Expérience au complet, culinairement mais aussi l'ambiance, le décor.
On a été reçue par 2 jeunes femme très agréable!

Their raspberry matcha is to die for! Also amazing & friendly service from the owner, who's always a pleasure to talk to ☺?. In an area with matcha places practically everywhere, Kaizen is definitely my favourite by far. Their seats are super comfy & it's a great spot to catch up on work or to just take a break. They also have some really good sparkling sodas if you're not in the mood for something caffeinated, I really recommend the mango/yuzu one!

A great place to read Manga. Great selection of it. Great food options. Out of all the matcha places i tried so far, this is the place that makes the best matcha drinks. Staff is great, friendly & always happy to serve you.
Sarah m'a réconciliée avec le matcha avec son matcha à la purée de mangue 🤤 sans parler du banh mi au poulet qui était excellent!! Merci Wendy & Sarah pour gentillesse & votre qualité de service! Hâte de revenir pour tester le reste de la carte!!
Mon premier matcha (mieux vaut tard que jamais) & c'était délicieux & rafraîchissant :) En plus, la barista était gentille & a pris le temps de m'expliquer comment elle prépare ses boissons au matcha
