Lunch à 28,99 $ pour un all you can eat sushi.
I love this place usually. But it had happened twice that the sushi rice is so dense & thick it was not fun to eat. For 130$ for 2 I expect the sushi rice to be better. If it happen once more, we will go back to Taiyo sushi, so please make the rice good again.

An all-you-can-eat restaurant that offers a wide variety of fresh & delicious sushi, sashimi, & other Japanese dishes. Enjoy some hot delicious dishes as well. The portions are generous, & there's plenty of variety to keep things interesting 🍣🍱
The drinks & cocktails are a great addition to the meal 🍹
The presentation of the dishes is also impressive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable 🤤
Best all you can eat sushi, Very tasty, attention to details, big portions & very nice & friendly staff. Will definitely be back with family & friends
Love the ambiance, music & decorations!
CANA Sushi is definitely one of the better all-you-can-eat sushi spots around Montreal.
We decided to give it a try since our usual choices, K2 & Manga, were both packed. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality & variety here.
The sashimi portions stood out right away. Many AYCE places slice them paper-thin to keep you ordering, but CANA serves thick, satisfying cuts that make every bite count. You actually leave full, not frustrated.
The overall selection of food is also impressive, with a good balance of rolls, hot dishes, & fresh sashimi.
My only feedback is about the ordering system. Allowing customers to select which table receives the food can easily lead to mix-ups. It would make more sense if each iPad was automatically assigned to a specific table by default.
Other than that, the experience was smooth, the food was great, & it is absolutely a place worth returning to.

We made reservations to celebrate a birthday at this restaurant last weekend. Unfortunately, there was a mix-up with our booking, & we discovered upon arrival that the reservation had been made for the wrong date. Thankfully, the staff was extremely accommodating & understanding of the situation. Despite it being a busy evening, they managed to seat our group right away, which we truly appreciated & felt set a positive tone for the rest of the evening.
Once seated, our servers were friendly, patient, & attentive. They took the time to explain how their ordering system worked through the tablet at our table, which was quite convenient once we got the hang of it. The system made browsing the extensive menu easy, & the first round of food came out surprisingly fast. Everything started off very promising - our initial orders were fresh, nicely plated, & portions were generous.
However, as the night went on & we placed additional rounds of orders, we began to notice that the portion sizes gradually became smaller. It wasn't a major issue, but it was noticeable enough to mention. The quality of the fish was decent, though nothing particularly impressive. The sushi itself was just okay - not bad, but certainly not the highlight of the meal. The selection was also on the limited side, especially compared to other all-you-can-eat sushi spots we've tried.
That said, for the price point of $43 per person, it's still a pretty good deal, especially if you have a big appetite & enjoy trying a variety of items. What really stands out is their hot food menu - there were plenty of tasty cooked dishes to choose from, & many of those turned out to be our favorites of the night.
To top off the evening, the staff surprised us with a birthday dessert complete with a candle & a cheerful'Happy Birthday' song. It caught us completely off guard - a little embarrassing but also genuinely thoughtful & sweet. It definitely made the celebration feel more special & memorable.
Overall, the experience was positive, & we left feeling satisfied. While there's room for improvement in the sushi quality & selection, the great service & welcoming atmosphere made up for it. We wouldn't hesitate to come back again to give it another try & see if things have improved. I'll be sure to update this review after our next visit to share how it goes!
Every time I see an ayce (all you can eat) sushi place I've never been before, I want to try it. At this point, I've been to more than 20 in Québec.
I have to say that in this case here , I was VERY disappointed. When you want to charge 43 cad for a meal (after tax & tip, comes close to 60 cad) you need to have at least descent food.
I tried a good amount of their menu & there wasn't even 1. Not even 1 (!!!) of their dishes that was above average. I tried different types of sushi, I tried cones (temakis), I tried sashimi, I tried tempura, hot dishes, etc. Their sushi rice chewy. Their nori was soft & mushy. Their beef dishes had no taste.
Also, the temperature of their items was very off. Everything was room temperature. Like they were sitting for a while. & indeed the dishes did take quite a while to arrive at my table.
At every ayce place I've been there has always been some items they were good at & others that they were not. But this one takes the cake as being consistently bad across the board.
I will still give 2 stars because at least the food was edible. Barely. But the idea that you want to charge someone nearly 60 cad for this quality of food is outrageous.
This is the perfect all you can eat sushi for us. Beside the employees being extremely kind & caring & making our anniversary feel extremely special, the quality of the food is amazing. I struggled to find an AYCE sushi place with a good selection of'fresh' not deep fried sushi & this has been the winner so far!
Also love that rolls get ordered in groups of 2/3/4 which makes is much easier for my & my partner to go out without needing to bring an entire group with us.
An all you can eat sushi restaurant available at lunchtime is no longer common since Covid.
There are several franchises available but this one opens at lunchtime. Parking is not very obvious in front of the restaurant, there are plenty of them at the back, just walking a little feels good.
I strongly advise you to book if there are a lot of you, there were 6 of us.
We are directed to a table almost immediately & explained that we must use an iPad for orders.
At lunchtime there are fewer choices than in the evening from what I see.
First orders when the restaurant is not crowded are quick & accurate.
Once the restaurant is full, orders are very very very slow & orders are never made.
The taste is very good, nothing to say.
The dessert order took so long (35 minutes) & so did my last sushi order. & when we ask if our order will arrive shortly, we are told nothing has been ordered!!!!
I don't know if it's a tactic to make us hungry but it worked, we no longer want anything except to leave as quickly as possible.
Me who wanted to eat my ice cream with the fried bread was lost.
Fortunately there is no obligatory tipping when there are 6 of us, some places charge automatically.
I have my fill of sushi but no idea if I will come back here, however next time I will prepare my list in advance & order only once if possible.

Un des meilleurs restaurants all you can eat: la variété, les saveurs, la rapidité du service, & j'en passe.
It is what to be expected of an all you can eat sushi. Not the best one I've been at but for the quality cost it is acceptable. Wish there were more choices in the raw section as there were a lot of cooked dishes.

Sushis, frais & corrects ! Les plats manquaient de saveur si on compare à d'autres restos de sushis all you can eat.
Been to almost every all you can eat Sushi around, this one is for sure the best, food was great, all was fresh, service was fast, everything tasted so good!
So it was our first time here & unfortunately it will be my last I am quite disappointed in the quality of food, there are much better all you can eat restaurants out there. This is the restaurant taiyo I used to love taiyo but I noticed the last time I went there we found plastic in our food & the service was horrible.
Don't get me wrong I've had worse
But I've also had better. Sashimi slimy & pale
Maki's have too much rice & it's heavy
Service was very fast, friendly service nice atmosphere. The salmon & tuna nigiri is very fishy. Ne
We had an overall pleasant night dining here. The ingredients were great, the options were extensive & the service was patient & friendly. However, for 43$ before tax per person, I was hoping to see some more variety in their selection of sushi & sashimi. I did enjoy how they were not shy to put some larger slices of fish which is often not seen in other AYCE places. My main concern was their ordering system. While I do enjoy ordering over a pad, it's really weird that we have to select the table. Imagine someone ordering the food for the wrong table, it's just a recipe for disaster. The other thing is the unrefined system. After ordering, your whole order disappears so it's not possible to check what was ordered anymore & most of the time, we received only a portion of our order or we received some plates we didn't order. This chaos confused us & combined with the time it took to serve the sushi (they make the sushi on order so it's understandable it takes a bit more time), it was quite hard to order the food freely & eat to our fullest. It was stressful to order more because we weren't certain if we received everything yet & we wanted to order more because we were still hungry.
