roti(24) pumpkin(9) sauce(7) goat(6) caribbean(6) chicken(4) chickpea(3) family(3) guyanese(3)Best roti in Montréal. Make sure to say yes to the extra pumpkin. & try that hot sauce... hot damn! Excellent food, super friendly staff. Try anything on the menu. You can't go wrong at Jardin du Cari.
Splendid dishes & lavish flavors at this locally loved West Indian-Guyanese spot. Kind & attentive service & seriously savory bites. The highly recommended goat & pumpkin roti was even more delicious than advertised; I had to order a bit off menu (just ask!). Can't wait to go back - anyone passing through should make the trip. Solid value & unpretentious.
amazing food - delicious & hearty. We got jerk chicken + chicken roti. We went on Sunday evening - not super busy - & we had friendly/prompt service. Reasonably priced as well!
Very quaint establishment with fantastic food & a decent vibe to. When I went there was no music playing, thus the silence was a little off putting. I'd suggest they play some music in the background to help the atmosphere. Staff is very nice & offered good service! The wait for the food was a little lengthy but not unreasonable. Plus, the damn hot sauce they serve is homemade & absolutely delicious with the Shrimp Roti! I will return & I recommend anyone in the area check this corner joint for a small piece of Caribbean culture!
Jardin du Cari is a Caribbean culinary haven right in the bustling heart of Montreal. As a Caribbean native, I absolutely adore this place! It's like a slice of home, serving up authentic English Guyanese flavors that truly resonate with my roots. The atmosphere is vibrant & welcoming, mirroring the warmth of the Caribbean sun. From the rich, spicy curries to the flaky, buttery rotis, each dish is a celebration of our diverse & flavorful cuisine. It's more than just dining; it's an experience that reconnects me with my heritage with every visit. A must-try for anyone craving a taste of the Caribbean in Montreal!
I've been only eating the vegetarian roti with extra pumpkin with the spicy sauce & it's delicious & addictive. Lots of take out, so the place is quiet & empty. You can eat alone & not feel weird.

service was fast, food was very tasty. I had the chick pea & potatoe curry dish & the peanut punch beverage. Nice portions as well. I liked it!

Awful food, awful service awful place. We work nearby & tried it out for the first & last time. The food looked disgusting & tasted bland. . We were denied water because a few people at our table already had some.
Service took forever. We sat waiting for roughly 15 minutes before seeing a single person working there & that's because we had gotten up to leave.
All in all one of the worst food experience ever for my colleagues & myself. I strongly recommend avoiding this place.
