Took a chance on this place. I got a mixed plate of stewed & curried chicken! At first he told me the price $28 I was skeptical but got it anyway! I am glad that I did! This is the biggest takeout plate I've ever had. & its not just rice like other places, there are whole pieces of chicken! Also potatoes, cabbage, bell pepper, & a fried dumpling! I am very very pleased with this order! I will definitely be back!

Meals were cooked to perfection. We ordered take out''delivery'' rice & peas, curry chicken, curry goat, dumplings, salad, king fish, red snapper. All cooked to perfection. Great service, staff professional, respectful. The best. Last Christmas & Easter I did not have to spend hours in my kitchen cooking. Thank you!

Fantastic food for takeout. My husband & I went today & it was freshly made & generous portions. He had a goat & oxtail plate with fried dumplings & I had a chicken roti & patties. All topnotch. He is saving his goat roti for later. Love this small takeout place!

I saw this on TikTok & I decided to try it. I went there for supper at about 6 o'clock or so & the rooms are true. It is a long way they do tell you in advance that it's gonna be about 10 minutes. I'd say it's probably closer about 15 or 20 minutes give or take, but it also depends on if your friends with whoever is serving because they tend serve their friends first Also people say that you can call in advance to make it faster, but there was a guy there with me who called in advance & he was still waiting their amount of time to I got like a simple plate just a jerk chicken, small plate & yeah, I would say 20 minutes no pre-order. Anyways onto the food the food was decent. It's not something that I would go out of my way for her but for the area & like if you're passing by & you want some Caribbean food then I would say that it's decent. The jerk chicken had a lot of flavor. The chicken was moist. The rice & peas were good. You got one dumpling & one fried plantain for a small plate. It's a pretty decent sized portion. I like the service was slow, but like the guy at the window was really nice. Interesting little hidden gem of Roxboro.

I had to update my review after my recent experience. I used to think this was hands down the best roti in town but the chicken roti I had today was nothing like the one I had two years ago. It was easily half the size it used to be a few years ago & had very little filling in it. The roti skin was smaller as well & couldn't contain the gravy which oozed out & made it impossible to eat with my hands which is my preferred way & the way I used to be able to eat Janette's roti. There was next to no chicken & it was all over cooked & shredded. I asked for hot sauce & they had none. & of course the price has gone up....my friend ordered the goat roti which was equaly small & cost $19!!! If you're cool spending $15-$19 on a snack-sized roti, it does still taste good but the value is long gone.
