I've tried jerk chicken all over Montreal, & honestly, LaSalle Caribbean is at the top of my list. The jerk chicken actually tastes like jerk - smoky, spicy, full of flavour, & not dry at all. You can tell it's made with care & not rushed. The rice & peas are solid, the portions are generous, & everything just feels comforting & authentic. It's the kind of place you keep coming back to because you know the food will hit every time. If you're serious about good Jamaican food, this spot is a must.
I called told to wait I have been waiting for over an hour the service really sucks how bad it is to keep a client waiting
So disappointed. Waited 35 minutes for 2 rotis . Specifically asked for No pepper in both . & there was pepper in both . Bit into a whole piece of ginger skin & all , in a roti I just don't understand . The young lady behind the cash did not seem like she wanted to be there , it was almost like you were bothering her .I unfortunately won't be back & I would not recommend going out of your way to come here .
I love eating here! I've been coming for ages, maybe even since they first opened. I'm so thankful for the great taste, & it's a privilege to eat such fresh food.

an ENITRE chunk of ginger was found in my rot. bit into it completely & utterly shocked.
So far everything I've had from this establishment have been delicious the staff is very nice the young lady there is a wonderful host always a delight talking to her waiting on my order I recommend the chicken roti very good & nice portions for the price
Lasalle Caribbean is hands down one of my favorite spots for some real, authentic Caribbean food in Montreal! Every time I step in there, I know I'm in for a treat. The vibes are always on point, the music is always perfect & the service is just as warm as the food.
A simple chicken roti? Always a winner! The chicken is so tender, & the roti is spot on. You can taste the love they put into every dish, & trust me, it hits the spot every single time.

You crave authentic jamaican food, this is the place! Family operated business. Food is amazing at a very reasonable price. Service may take a bit longuer tho depending on your order, but always worth the wait.
C'est notre 3e essai à ce restaurant car parfois, il ferme avant le temps si c'est tranquille. Notre visite était le 23 décembre vers 19h. Le menu contient les éléments typique de la cuisine jamaïcaine. Nous avons commandé la grande assiette de poulet jerk. Le poulet étais délicieux & c'était la vedette de l'assiette, la sauce était juste assez épicée. Ne fiez vous pas à la présentation. Nous avons demandé une sauce de plus & on nous l'a offert. Nous avions beaucoup de poulet. Le riz était aussi bon. La salade était correcte & les tranches de bananes un peu fatiguée. Le restaurant compte une vingtaine de places assises & le décor est modeste. Le service est un peu long mais ça compense pour le plat qui est frais fait.
