JACOPO celebrates the unique Italian culinary elegance by offering dishes made from fresh and seasonal ingredients as well as specialized charcuterie!
JACOPO offers guests homemade pasta, fresh vegetables, roasted meats in a stone oven, roman lamb, and much more. Diners can also enjoy freshly baked in-house focaccia bread and homemade charcuterie and salami, cured on display in a controlled drying chamber. It doesn’t get more authentic than this!

We came for mother's day & they had a limited menu, fine, but then they ran out of the salmon option, pasta was very mediocre & the beef chops were stringy. The appetizers were good but the main dishes we could've honestly made better at home. Regretted not stopping by a different Italian restaurant. Won't come back.View more

I came here last night for dinner & was extremely disappointed with the service.
I ordered a passion fruit martini, 40 minutes later, the waitress brings me a clear coloured martini. I asked her if it was a passion fruit martini (which are normally more orangey looking), she says'no, we ran out of passion fruit so I brought you a lychee one'. I told her I didn't like lychee & won't drink it , to which she responds'just try it' & then walks away. I did not drink my drink & was charged $17 for something I did not order & said I didn't want. To add, the food was mediocre & overpriced. Would not recommend at all.View more

Aurelia, our server, the ambiance of the square, was only rivalled by our excellent meal! Highly recommend. We sat outside on the terrace & had the grilled calamari, tomato salad, seafood pasta & more…all amazing suggestions by our server. Would go again!View more

It was an amazing experience my hunband & i went yesterday Friday May 1 in the evening with reservation. We got a text letting us know that our table was ready. Our server was welcoming & beautiful ambiance inside. My husband ordered an initial drink he didn't like & got a replacement. The food was amazing, fresh & flavourful. My mom & I came here for my birthday recently & had the greatest experience. The food was outstanding, the atmosphere was excellent, but the thing that really stood out was the service. I worked in food service for the better part of ten years, & the difference between good service & great service is not lost on me, & our waiter was a masterclass in great service. We were waited on by Léo who introduced himself politely & promptly upon being seated, & was always available for questions regarding the menu & the wine. He made polite conversation & prompt service, but despite the busy Friday-night atmosphere his service & conversation did not feel rushed, a trend we noticed he continued with other tables. We never felt that it was too long between his check-ins or that we were kept waiting, but found that his check-ins weren't unnecessarily frequent which we appreciated. In addition to engaging conversation & outstanding recommendations on wine (which was served with a nearly sommelier level of delicacy & class) Léo made us feel very welcome & his service felt personalized. We were given focaccia with our appetizer which was excellent, & even though we didn't ask, Léo brought me a bit of some fantastic tiramisu as a birthday gift which was a very kind touch. Overall, the experience was outstanding & the food was excellent, but the service made the experience, & I remarked at the table to my mother that I wished I could've used Léo to train new employees when I was in food service. Next time I'm in Montreal, I intend to return!View more

This was a really special meal. We happened to be in Montreal on my husband's April birthday, & this is the place he chose. The weather was perfect & they gave us a spot on the patio with heaters warming from the top. Our food was done to perfection. My husband had a seafood pasta dish & I had a spicy shrimp with a cooked grain in a creamy sauce. (not sure what kind) with grilled veggies. The waiters were very attentive & we could enjoy all the activities & live performances in the square or street the restaurant boarders. Thank you for making our evening special!View more

As a traveler visiting Montreal, I wanted to end my trip with a memorable dinner-& this restaurant initially seemed like the perfect spot. The ambiance was lovely, & the staff were incredibly courteous & attentive throughout our visit. The food, once it arrived, was well-prepared & tasted great.
Unfortunately, the overall experience was dampened by the wait time. Despite placing our order promptly, we had to wait over an hour for the food to arrive. By then, the excitement & appetite had already faded, which took away from what could have been a fantastic dining experience.
It's a place with great potential, but I hope they address the service delays, as it's the one thing that kept this dinner from being the highlight of my trip.View more
